Good and comfortable stay while travelling between Sydney & Melbourne. Staff is friendly and helpful. Room carpet need a cleanup and swimming pool as well.

Very spacious, clean and comfortable room. Very friendly staff. Need to drive to restaurants etc. but fast food is across the road. A bit of noise from the highway but not significant.

I was a solo traveler, so was amazed at how big the space was, the room / bathroom was massive!! The room was clean, check in was easy and the motel is not far from town. If you're a light sleeper, you may want to bring ear plugs as you can just hear the trucks from the highway. My only concern was on the night I stayed, the wifi was very patchy at times. Otherwise, comfortable bed, clean room and not far either from the lookout over Gundagai - which is especially beautiful if you can get there when the sun is setting!!!

Bright airy and clean room
I struggle to sleep well in any place other than my own bed and my home at a temperature that I find comfortable. However, the aircon was set at a temperature that ensured a comfortable night re warmth. The bed was fairly comfortable, though I did struggle a little with the pillows. One pillow seemed not enough but two was too large. That was a minor issue and certainly not a show stopper. The room was larger than I expected with a bright and airy feel to it. The surrounding area was quiet, even though it's not far from the highway, and there was no noise from any of the other hotel guess. I would certainly stay there again and recommend it to my friends.

The Tuckerbox Motel was pristine, clean, well equipped and the bed was luxuriously comfortable. The site was quiet and peaceful. The reception staff were warm,welcoming and extremely helpful. Service standard was high and beyond expectations. Many thanks for phoning the local hotel and even organising a courtesy bus for us. It was a lovely experience which i would be very happy to have again. I thoroughly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for great. Friendly. Comfortable. Clean accommodation in this area.

We were in Gundagai for a wedding and needed a nights accommodation. We were pleasantly surprised that the room was spacious, comfortable, offered fridge, toaster and kettle along with everything you’d need for a comfortable stay. No problems recommending it.

Worked well on our road trip , straight off Hume but little road noise and property in very good condition and well maintained. Quite large space by motor inn standards. Very clean

As soon as we arrived we were greeted warmly by the owner.The room was exactly as we had seen in the pictures.Clean...fresh with everything you could need.It was exactly what we needed after a 5 hr drive.Close to dining facilities and close to the Gundagai town centre and only 10kms from the historical tucker box.We will definitely be back.
