"Very comfortable room and very welcoming staff. Hotel is very handy for Botanic Gardens, Kelvingrove Art Gallery and local restaurants etc. Breakfast is good value including both continental and full cooked items. I will definitely make a return visit."

"Nice little boutique hotel right near Kelvingrove Park and subway - less than 5 min walk to either. Room was nice..a bit small but I was traveling solo , so it wasn't an issue. I found the stairs to 2nd level a bit steep, but there was a good bannister, so that was fine. All in all, a pleasant stay."

What a great place. The room we had was large and comfortable, with a view of a beautiful old church across the road as well as a view of the manicured gardens. The dining area is large with an atmosphere of good old Scottish service with an abundance of fresh food and drinks. The streets around the hotel make for a good walk and are lined with a mass of stunning trees and mansions to take your breath away. There is also a beautiful park near by. Friendly staff were the icing on the cake. We'll...

The Village is a nice place in a great location. The rooms for a family of 4 with 2 double beds is small and there is no mini fridge but there is a Starbucks and the pub food is really good. The pool is great too but be advised they will make you go in with your kids bc it’s 4ft deep everywhere. Would stay again

Fantastic accomodation. Easy access on the bus and train, within walking distance to the stadium.
If we happen back to Glasgow 0- you'll definitely hear from us.

The room was sizeable and clean with all of the amenities that I needed for my stay. Staff knowledge, friendliness and helpfulness was greatly appreciated, the food was amazing on the 2 nights we ate there, congratulations to the chefs. Buffet breakfast was awesome.
I would just paint the carpark lines in something other than faded red. Otherwise highly recommend.

Here’s a polished, ready-to-post review:
Crossbasket Castle & Hotel has to be one of the nicest hotels we’ve ever stayed in. The room was absolutely beautiful, thoughtfully designed and elegantly decorated and the bathroom was spacious and luxurious. Breakfast was outstanding, with fantastic quality and choice. Most of all, the service truly stood out: every member of staff was attentive, welcoming, and professional. A wonderful experience from start to finish, and we would definitely recommend...

I really liked this hotel. I didn’t notice any major issues, and overall it felt well run and comfortable. The location is excellent, with about a five-minute walk to the central station, around ten minutes to Queen Street station, and a subway nearby, so getting around is extremely convenient.
The quality is very good. It’s clean, well maintained, and the staff are friendly and helpful. The setup seems to combine hotel guests and students, but it didn’t cause any problems, and everyone seemed...

Easy walk with luggage from Glasgow train station. Property clean and great vibe. The room was a good size for 2 friends sharing. Great to have small kitchenette with dishwasher. Main city shops literally a 5 min walk.
