"A fair budget hotel. Bed was quite firm and pillows were difficult for me to comfortable with, but that happens. The small heated spa was nice, and the room it’s in with the pool is well done. "

"This property blew our minds at how cool and historic in nature that this hotel is. Most. All of the rooms have really great views from every angle. We were a large party coming here to celebrate a wedding and they accommodated every single one of us. The staff was super friendly and helpful whenever we asked for any assistance. "

"We all had an amazing time in such a beautiful location. Very secluded with a wonderful fire pit. Although we did not have a fire. We did enjoy the hot tub very much. The grill was awesome to use and the chairs on the deck were were terrific. We especially love the springed in court. The best part about this place was the fact that was the first time we could all sit around the table together and have a meal without taking turns. Even the door is cute! The owners were extremely responsive and we had a fabulous time! Highly recommend. You will not be disappointed. Excellent! Excellent. Excellent!"

"My friends and I had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home overlooking the Mississippi river. We really enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The home has lots of space, high end appliances, and comfortable furnishings. We had a great time exploring nearby Red Wing, and stopping for a drink at Mr. Sippi just down the road. We are already planning our next visit! "
"We stayed here for a girlfriends 3 night weekend get away. We really enjoyed Vern's cabin !!The cabin had everything we needed. It is very peaceful and serene there. We really enjoyed the patio for coffee in the morning, the fire pit at night, and watching the river. We saw & heard lots of birds, eagles & Blue Herons....Bunnies and a big turtle too. The cabin is not fancy but it is perfect for a get away. Redwing is right there and we had a lot of fun shopping, eating out, and checking out the bluffs. Anthony ( owner) was very helpful. Stay here if there are 3/4 of you."
