"We loved the setting of the property. The room we stayed in needs a little upgrade regarding the carpet and mattress. We loved getting our continental breakfast brought to our room. I would definitely go there again."

"The location was very conveniently located, however the property was a bit dirty feeling. The hallways smelled musty/ mildewed and were a bit dark. My room smelled clean, but the carpet was covered with what looked like dog hair. The soap and shampoo smelled great and were convenient in the kind of bottles that are refillable, which I appreciate. Linens and pillows were very good. Another area that was a bit disappointing was the pool. There was only one towel which my friend and I had to share. There was garbage (which says more about the other guests than the hotel tbh) Overall, I’d probably stay again, however it was not as nice as I had expected given the price."

"The house was very clean, spacious, and was perfect for our group. There were not many things that the kids could “get into” like decor/trinkets which is nice for a vacation home. The patio is spacious, has plenty of seating for both relaxing and dining, and the addition of the grass area for our kids to run and play was perfect. The kitchen having essentials like some spices, oil, and misc cutlery/supplies was a nice touch! This often goes overlooked by rentals but makes a difference for guests. The bedrooms were perfect. Each having access to their own bathroom made daily routines a breeze. (And the heated floor in the master bath was sooo nice)The home is well kept, with some small signs of renovation/remodeling. Nothing that interfered with the stay. A few “annoyances” were: 1) that many windows did not have screens, which when opening to enjoy the fresh coastal air allowed additionally flying friends to enjoy the home with us. 2) the master bedroom balcony door only stayed closed when fully locked. It’s as if the alignment is off and it won’t stay closed without being locked.3) the 2nd upstairs bedroom window screen was wonky and the frame was ready to pull away from the windows.These are just things that could use some looking after.4) otherwise...was a GREAT place to stay.THANK YOU"

"Small, but the hosts do a great job of making very efficient use of the space. We loved the beautiful location and the stream outside our window. Friendly hosts on site who loaned us beach chairs. Capitola beach only 12 minutes away; Santa Cruz boardwalk about 25 minutes. For any mountain bikers out there, it might be the closest rental property of any sort to the Demo Forest, about 25 minutes."
