"A wonderful chalet—spacious, with modern amenities and a cozy interior. The view is phenomenal, and the Chartreuse is a stunning natural area. For hikers like us, it’s a real treat. The only downside is the limited number of restaurants in the entire area. Many are closed on Mondays and Wednesdays or are only open on weekends. The best restaurants are booked solid for weeks in advance. There are no mountain huts or inns where you can grab a bite to eat, as there are in Austria, so be sure to bring your own lunch. The hosts were proactive and friendly."
