Check-in was completely contactless, and they even let us check in early when we arrived. Communication with Hamlet Inn was easy, and they were very quick to respond to messages and calls. The room was really nice, clean, and convenient - within walking distance of all the tastings rooms and shops downtown.

Beds were very firm, so not comfortable. The bathroom was sparse, so nowhere to put down your stuff. It is in the heart of Solvang and convenient to sights and amenities. Overall, it's just an above average motel.

This is our second time staying at the property and we still enjoyed our stay. Very clean, quiet, and walkable to restaurants and shopping areas. I recommend this place.

You can learn most about property management when things go wrong. Like most inns, walls can be a bit thin. Our neighbor's music and "outside" voice were keeping us up. Management was able to resolve the issue quickly. Upon returning home, we realized we had left a sentimental item. The hotel had it in lost and found and arranged its return quickly. The service and hospitality here are the best!!

The hotel was very well equipped for the weekend. Unfortunately, both my partner and I had a terrible nights rest because the pillows were way too soft. As soon as we would lay down on the pillow, they would sink all of the way to the bottom of the bed and this caused us to have a terrible headache as well as a crooked neck. This hotel would get a five star rating if the sleeping arrangements were more comfortable.

The property was a little dated and really went all in on minimalist decor. The room I had was just a little bigger than a walk in closet with a bathroom. I was able to visit other rooms that were twice the size ( and the same price). I had room 2 which was obviously an effort to squeeze a few more dollars out of the business. Definitely at guest expense. I won’t be going back…

Lovely and very clean hotel. Staff were very nice and made checking in and out effortless. Very conveniently located across the street from an excellent bakery and yummy pancake house. Thanks Hamlet Inn for a lovely stay.

This unique property kept with the Danish theme. It is in a great location, close to shopping and restaurants. The room was spacious and included a sofa and coffee table and window seating. Beds were comfortable and towels very fluffy. Complimentary bottled water was nice Cons during our stay were that the shampoo dispenser was empty, and it is hard to find the “sweet spot” for hot water in the shower. The contactless check-in and entry were a great feature!
