The "annexe" is a wonderful place to stay (tastefully decorated and very comfy bed) and thoroughly recommend but like another reviewer, found it very difficult to find (and that was with sat nav AND asking people in the village!!). The address is actually the CORNER of Glen Road and Coulthorpe Lane. Host Barney was quick to organise our evening meal for us at The Castle pub. Highly recommend as well but be prepared for the local villagers to be warm and inclusive!!!

Fantastic place for a weekend stay in Stamford. Attached to a lovely pub but still quiet and pleasant. Rooms are clean and very comfortable. Great right next to Stamford high street. We stay here every time

Nice room in the reception building of a caravan park. Excellent for an overnight stay on a road trip. I don't know how it would be for a longer stay.

5 days with good breakfast and cheery host. The only issue which is symptom of old stone buildings was nowhere to plug devices in. Finally found a power board under the bed. But minor issue.

We only stayed one night but the property is beautiful. There are stairs and no lift but there was someone to help with the bags. Dinner tasty and a good varied menu. Lots of parking on the premises. Would highly recommend this property.

This is a lovely old pub, so one needs to remember things may be a trifle warn. That being said, the shower was hot, the bathroom floor was heated, but grout missing in some of the floor tlies. The food served in the restaurant was AMAZING and the staff were friendly and helpful. I can't thank them enough for making my stay so enjoyable.

Very central, helpful owner, parking is possible very nearby, but not plentiful in a town with a street plan from the17th century. A large paid parking lot is 250 metres away. A DIY breakfast of cereal, yoghurt, and toast with many toppings, is in the fridge. Pull the cord to activate the shower.
