"Unfortunately the location showed the apartment was located at Playa Bonita but it is actually located in Chumical which is 20km away. We were advised by friends who reside in Playa Bonita, whom we wanted to stay close to, that taxis/Uber’s dont go to Chumical and the area is for “adventurous” travelers so we forfeited our non-refundable booking. The host offered a different date but this didn’t resolve the above concerns. "

"My daughter and I stayed for a week. The place was easy to find and Uber drivers had no difficulty finding it. The security guard was very nice and helpful. It was a good idea to get separate rooms becuz two queen beds in a hotel room would not have provided privacy and alone time. The kitchen was well-stocked. The neighborhood had a variety as far as the choices of cuisine. The EXTRA store was near by, too. I will return when I am back in Panama."

I was only able to stay for one night.. however in a little more than 24 hours I visited an indigenous village, kayaked on the canal waterways, saw two types of monkeys and a crocodile on a boat trip of the canal, took a tram ride up to a forest peak, and went on a night "safari". So many options to enjoy. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The breakfast & dinner brunches are flavorful and filling and the bar serves tasty drinks. I highly recommend visiting if you have the chance. p.s. It...

Best Western El Dorado Panama Hotel

Bethania

8/10 Good

We stayed three nights in this hotel. Overall this hotel is nice, clean and quite good value. The included breakfast is good. It is located in the heart of El Dorado with many restaurants, supermarkets and shops close to the hotel. El Dorado is considered to be a safe area in Panama City with a very large Chinese community. The hotel is quite close to the Panama Canal and the old town. It costed about USD 5-8 to take a taxi or UBER from the hotel to the old town.
