"Everything was fantastic. It was clean and very organized. Out of all the places we have stayed, this was the most stocked vacation rental we have experienced and we really appreciated it!"

"The house was beautiful and a good location. 7 minutes from the Virginia Dare Marina and about 15 minutes from a Food Lion. Given that the lake was so low, we were pleased that we could actually get in the water to swim but we had to get a ladder so we could make it from the main dock to the floating dock. The house is in a beautiful cove with emerald waters. The walk to the lake is a gentle slope. We were able to enjoy the hot tub a couple of nights because the temp dropped low enough. The master and en suite is nice however the king bed is an older pillow top and the fitted sheet was too big and did not fit. It kept slipping up. The twin bunk beds up stairs were great! And the other king bed was nice. The queen beds downstairs were comfortable but the en suite shower was difficult for anyone that is over 5’9. The kitchen was nice and there were adequate pots and pans. Did not have a griddle. The bbq grill was great and we enjoyed a few nights grilling there’s a beautiful porch with ceiling fans making it very comfortable to sit outside and enjoy the lake. The house’s orientation is such that you don’t see any sunsets or sunrises. The host is not an individual but property management company that actually charges a pretty hefty fee for cleaning, linens, taxes, etc that added another 1k to the price. The house was clean but given the cleaning fee they charge it should have been cleaner. We stayed for 9 days. All in all we had a pleasant stay."

"Such a cute, comfy little room with a very responsive host! Info is detailed and clear. The room has a window overlooking the mechanics of the bldng that are below parking lot level but the view from the backside of the condo building are outstanding! There’s a cute market with Starbucks coffee and some bfast sandwiches/pastries, a wonderful restaurant with outside seating and a nice pool out back. The building was clean and quiet and the only things we would suggest would be more towels - there was only 1 washcloth for 2 people for 2 days and some more dishes/glasses as what is there leaves you having to wash dishes daily."

"The house was beautiful, very clean and easy to check in. The only negative id say was there was no toaster ,large pot, outside garbage can and no instructions to check out. I cleaned and washed some towels but wasn't sure what would be helpful when we checked out."

"We had stayed at Lake Lagom and it is really nice and the location is great.We had some issues with the A/C was not as comfortable as we expected but Matthew worked hard to get it repaired. The house is great, best kitchen ever.Thanks Matthew"

"Our family enjoyed a wonderful vacation at this lake house! The hosts provided excellent communication before, during, and after our stay. They went out of their way to provide us with information regarding boat rentals and fishing charters that helped us get the most out of our visit to Smith Mountain Lake. The house itself is beautifully decorated and very warm and inviting. We were very impressed with how the hosts have thought through and planned for everything guests might need to make their vacation seamless and enjoyable. In the kitchen we had everything we could possibly need to prepare meals. Also, it was so nice having firewood provided so we could enjoy family time around the firepit roasting marshmallows and eating s'mores. During the day we especially loved the two person kayak and paddleboards as well as the unique inflatables they made available to us. We shared quiet moments in the peaceful sunroom and looked forward to our family dinners outside on the beautiful patio overlooking the lake. During the vacation our family made many special memories which will last a lifetime. We can't wait to come again!"
