Lake front Lodge on Lake Swift

"This log cabin lodge on Swift Lake/Reservoir is a wonderful escape from busy city life. It is totally private, with its own road and gated access. The views over the water are incredible (especially when the moon was out!), and the lodge is designed to take advantage of that, with large windows and balconies facing the lake. The kitchen is very spacious and open, and it was a great space to hang out with family. It was conveniently located near Mt. St. Helens, and we went on several hikes a short drive away. We would recommend this lodge if you're looking for a place to get away with family, and enjoy some time in nature with all the comforts of home."

"We had a pleasant stay. It is clean and pretty rustic. Some newer remodels. It was only my husband and I so we stayed downstairs. The one bed is very squeaky and the sheets are uncomfortable,kitchen is small but otherwise it was nice. There really was not a view. Large trees in the way It is in a little neighborhood so not isolated. Price was a little higher than other places we’ve stayed, but overall good."

"Great house with a nicely stocked kitchen. Not much in the area for eating out. The Cougar bar is about it and service was slow so we left. No big deal as we planned on cooking but something to keep in mind. No grocery stores close by."

"This might have been my favorite vrbo ever. It is conveniently located in Randle which is the gateway to the Guifford Pinchot Forest. It is on a gravel road on a hill just behind the one stop sign type of town that Randle is. the house seems literally brand new as well as everything that has been used to furnish it and fill it. The washer/dryer and large tub all worked great. I had zero critiques. The host is super responsive to communication. I would always stay there if i ever traveled back to that area!! The only thing useful to know is google maps does not recognize the address yet - the host compensates by giving you GPS coordinates which does make up for it....it is useful to know that those coordinates are not 100% precise so if you are still wondering where the house is - just keep going up the gravel road. You will make another turn and then see this completely new/clean house that's grey with detached grey garage. Also, the 172 house number is easily visible on the front of the house."

"This was such a cute location and within walking distance to small restaurants and stores/gas. Loved how cozy the place was and actually surprised by how big it was when you walked in. It had everything you need for the stay. Very clean and had the rustic vibe. Would stay again."
