"We had a wonderful and relaxing stay at the cabin. We enjoyed hiking Mt Rainier then coming back to the hot tub to unwind. My daughter loved nature walks in the backyard that led up to the river. The porch was the best place for coffee and a book. We can’t wait to return!"

"Old motel was revitalized for today’s travelers on a budget. It’s on a busy road so we did have road noise, but it had all the essentials of a cabin-style stay. We walked next door to the speakeasy Irish pub for dinner and a drink and an awesome piece of chocolate cake before calling it a day. Friendly owners run the whole property."

"The property was perfect for 3 adults and 2 kids. Quiet. Clean. Not an easy trek to the Cowlitz River. The stairs to the loft are not for senior citizens. No shoes inside so I suggest bringing some comfy slippers. My feet hurt after three days on the hard (attractive) floor. We alerted the owners that the hot tub only got up to 94 so I’m sure that is fixed now. Bring essential ingredients for cooking. There were salt and pepper and that was it. There was coffee. Nice towels and comfy beds. The owners seem very easy going. No hassles. Not a lot of frills but relaxing and away from the hustle and bustle of life. I recommend this cabin."

"This was an absolutely wonderful stay. I'm so glad we made the trip. The property was gorgeous and quiet. The outdoor kitchen was perfect. The hot tub was a great size, and the bathroom and shower were great as well."
