"This hotel is in desperate need of a renovation! The pictures are very misleading. The lobby had an odor and the furniture was worn and old. The room they gave us had ripped curtains and the bathrobes were so old and worn we did not use them. To top it off, the air conditioner did not work. I had to go to the front desk 3 times before they sent someone to look at it. The maintenance guy reported that it was fine and did we want a fan. No we did not want a fan, we wanted an air conditioner that worked!! The only staff member that seemed to care was the night manager... forgive me I can't remember his name. I think it was Dominic but he was great and moved us to a bigger room with a working air conditioner. The pool was ok but again, looked nothing like the pictures. The pool towels were old and stained. Guys, time for a replacement!! I will say the breakfast was very good. Great service and lots of variety. It was the best thing about the hotel. The location was on the boardwalk but not alot going on. You could walk to Saint Julien's which was much more lively but if I ever return to Malta I would definitely stay in Valetta. It had the most amazing old town with great restaurants! Overall, I was extremely disappointed with this hotel and would not recommend it."

"Room was clean and functional. .m Managed to flood the bathroom as no shower curtain. TV didn't work but suspect remote needed new batteries. Breakfast was as a Premier Inn and the guys running breakfast service were extremely helpful. Very close to seafront and local buses. Very good corner shop just across the road - cheap water and soft drinks."
