My husband and I are busy professionals and had such a nice stay at this house. It’s very comfortable and private. It’s also any easy drive to the best hikes in the area. We really enjoyed our quiet vacation!
Great WiFi and air conditioning.
We had so much fun .. the cabin and location was great .. it had most things u need ..didn’t have any kitchen towels .. will bring some next time .. my grandson loved the backyard and I loved that my dog was welcome
The Horseshoe cabin was a perfect fit for our family and I loved it most because we got to bring our dogs. Very clean on the inside and had anything you would need to cook etc. I would visit again.
Great location. Hiking and scenery was amazing. Some of the dishes were dirty, the listing wasnt completely accurate and we could not get the hot tub to work.
Beautiful property. The waterfall in the backyard was unreal! Everything worked and was clean. Not a single problem. They were only 2 of us, with plenty of room for 6. Would definitely stay again. Surrounding properties also beautiful.
Stunning property with your very own waterfall. This is our favorite cabin yet. Everything you could need but still feel like you are in your own little forest. The owner was very easy to work with. Recommend
The horseshoe falls cabin exceeded our expectations. It's secluded with rock bluffs. The waterfall right behind the cabin is icing on the cake for an incredibly serene experience. The hosts are quick to respond to messages. I would highly recommend this cabin! As a bonus, neighboring cabins are tucked away in their own secluded site. Incredibly peaceful.
House was very nice. Spacious and comfortable for our group of two couples. Fire pit near the rock faces was great. A couple of things to note, the driveway was challenging especially in the dark. While there are 2 bathrooms, there's only one shower. We had plenty of hot water though. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and are already planning a return trip.
The cabin was exactly as advertised. It has many amenities- games, books and good tv selection. We enjoyed the waterfall behind it and the hot tub was great. Unfortunately it rained almost our entire trip, but none the less the cabin was great. We could have used a few more pots and pans, but we survived. There was plenty of toilet paper, paper towels and dishwashing liquid. I do wish there was a shower upstairs, but that was my fault for not realizing it from the listing. Overall had a great trip and always happy to come back to this great cabin to relax.
Beautiful home with everything you need to start. The trails are not far either. There is not as much yard as you would think. Also the drivewzy is steep
We booked specifically to be close to Natural Bridge State Park to be near family. The distances on the listing are very incorrect. The house is amazing. you are surrounded by stone in the back private yard. Listening to falls while roasting marshmallows is soo peaceful.
It's a beautiful cabin but it's ten minutes off the paved road up a fairly steep gravel road. The listing pictures must have been taken when water levels were higher because everything was dried up around us. Unfortunately we had a shortage of water the first day it worked after that. The well must have been low. Also the hot tub was green and low on water the first day . I spoke to the property manager and they sent out the cleaning crew to clean it.
The cabin and the setting were great. Bonfires next to the cliff were magical. Would definitely stay there again. Note that the mileage listed to “what’s nearby” and restaurants was way off. Cabin is actually about 8 miles from Natural Bridge State Park. There is a BBQ place closer to the cabin. The hot and cold water in the shower were reversed. Several light bulbs were out and the kitchen was very dark…made cooking a bit of a challenge. Other than that we had a wonderful stay.Host was very responsive to our needs.
Cabin was very nice.My family of six were quite comfortable in it.The backyard with the rock wall and the small dripping from the water coming down next to the fire pit was very nice very calming. While the road into the cabin is very interesting. It is doable.... We all had no problem with it. The parking in the driveway with 3 vehicles is a little tight but again doable. All in all everything was very nice.I would give one or two small ideas for the future.Perhaps one would be removing the jacuzzi tub upstairs and putting in a shower.I think that would be more useful to the people staying there. And also thinking about putting the hot tub on the ground level. So that you don't have to walk through someone's bedroom to get to the hot tub.But other than that, great cabin would recommend.
