Tucked Away Cottage, Beautiful cottage in central Grassington with parking

Superb stone-built cottage at the heart of Grassington. Completely renovated to an exceptionally high standard in 2017 providing well-equipped, cosy accommodation, lovely garden and private parking.

Our well appointed cottage is Tucked Away in the heart of Grassington village, just off the bustling main street but seconds away from the picturesque cobbled square.
Finished to a high standard throughout, this cottage offers comfortable, well-equipped accommodation for up to four people and utilises a combination of modern furnishings and original features. There is central heating throughout and wi-fi. The sitting room boasts exposed beams, wooden flooring and a multi-fuel stove. Bedroom 1 features a handmade kingsize sleigh bed and Bedroom 2 offers the option of two single beds or a super kingsize bed. There is an upstairs bathroom with a shower, toilet and handbasin. Downstairs there is cloakroom with a toilet and hand basin. The lovely garden provides an excellent spot for al fresco dining and private parking is located right outside the cottage.

Amenities: Gas central heating and multi-fuel stove. Electric cooker, dishwasher, microwave, fridge, smart TV and wi-fi, washing machine. A freezer is available if needed - located in the outbuilding.
Bed linen and towels provided. Private parking for 2 cars. Enclosed garden. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shops, cafes and pubs 1 min walk.

Please note that access into Brown Fold is narrow and is unsuitable for any vehicles wider than a transit van.

A lovely, warm and cosy cottage

Lovely little place, done to a high standard. Great location a stone’s throw from the centre of Grassington, near lots of eating options. Private parking is a big plus point.

This was our 2nd stay at the cottage, it is comfortable and clean, and has everything you need for your stay, the position just off the market square is excellent, and has the bonus of 2 parking spaces

Cosy cottage.

Very pleasant 4 night stay in mid March. Weather kind to us. Beautiful local walks, no need to use the car during our stay. Planned to take the local bus to Appletreewick on Tuesday. Note it does not run on Tuesdays so went to Skioton!

Quality cottage and location

Great two bedroom cottage quality fittings, well equipped, and in a fantastic location close to all of the pubs, restaurants, and shops. We used it as a base to do two long walks and then in the evening just walk out and back to the entertainment on offer.

Great home base

The location was perfect, in the beautiful town of Grassington. The town had planty of restaurants and shops and great walks. I plan to come back again with friends so yhey can enjoy the same experience.

Amazing

What an amazing cottage this is, we are looking forward to a return visit, such a quite place only a couple of minutes away from the village square, lots of places to eat, pubs, restaurants, cafe etc we enjoyed a trip to Skipton and then just stayed in and enjoyed the log fire, would recommend.

Wonderful, warm cottage visited in midst of winter. Comfortable and cozy, with plenty of hot water. High quality appliances, furniture and finishes, with access to excellent pubs and restaurants within walking distance. The owners care very much about providing a care-free experience for visitors.An excellent base for anyone wishing to explore the dales, or having an interest in ACG&S TV series.

superb cottage in great location

Property was spot on. Clean with everything you'll need for a stay. Location could not be better. Just tucked away off the main street with all the pubs, restaurant and shops 2 mins away. Bonus off having parking outside too.

Christmas break at Tucked away cottage

A lovely, and actually quite spacious cottage, very nicely furnished, with a good sized dining kitchen, we had everything we needed for our stay, the parking for 2 cars was great, and being a minutes walk from everything was brilliant, and the bonus of a garden, which in summer, would be lovely, we had a decorated Christmas tree with lights, and garland round fireplace, which looked wonderful, especially when the log burner was lit. We had a great stay, and would like to visit again

Great stay

Great location in town. Easy walking to all shops and pubs. Tucked Away Cottage lovely and warm and cosy. Possibly the best bed we have slept in away from home! Well equipped kitchen, perhaps only addition might be a cafetière for coffee. Ideal to have own parking in town. The Retreat cafe just across the street makes great coffee and the best chocolate fudge cake. Super few days in Yorkshire. Thank you for great stay.

This place was absolutely wonderful. Would love to stay again. Tastefully decorated, great location, wash machine, car parking. Easy distance to all we wanted to see and do. One king, one queen. One and a half bathrooms. My only suggestion would be to add a memory foam mattress pad to the king, like the queen has. It would be much more comfortable for people with hip and back issues (me).

Wonderful cottage

Beautifully renovated and tastefully furnished cottage in the centre of Grassington. The property has a private parking space right outside which was very convenient. We had some lovely walks right from the door. We didn't have the best of weather, but came home relaxed , happy and rather muddy!! Thank you so much.

Great stay despite dodgy weather!

Tucked Away Cottage is a peaceful, comfortable base right in the middle of Grassington. It’s within literally a few paces of great pubs and small local shops - with lots of nice walks on the doorstep too. Did good hikes to Bolton Abbey, Buckden Pike and Malham Cove/Tarn. Even managed an unavoidable day’s work thanks to the good wifi. Parking right outside the front door is a real bonus. Thanks!

Perfect property, fantastic location

We booked for a base as an Easter getaway with walks from the doorstep. It was Perfect, the property has allocated packing right outside the front door, it was clean, everything we needed was there! A lovely garden area to sit and relax in the sunshine with a glass of wine after a long walk in the dales! The property was in a quiet courtyard/lane just a few steps away from the main Grassington Square! Would definitely return.

Great central location

Perfect central location to pop into Grassington that had everything we needed, food shopping, cafes, pubs and even a great little theatre (watched Brassed Off, fab!). Cottage was clean and very minimal but did have everything that was needed. Large bed with fresh bedding, easy log burner and heating controls. TV reception was the only small negative on a couple of nights - but we hardly use it so not a major problem for us. Overall a great stay.

The property was wonderful just needed a few more pots and cutlery so we didnt have to use dishwasher after each meal parking ok but if a lot of cars parked on the side you had to reverse out and it’s rather narrow. Lovely furnishings and it was warm. Thank you
