Comfortably furnished and centrally heated throughout, the cottage has a pretty garden and patio to relax on warmer days and evenings after a day walking and touring this beautiful area of Yorkshire. Skipton is host to many events throughout the year, and has a good range of individual shops, bars and restaurants, a swimming pool, leisure facilities and a golf course. Take a stroll along the cobbled alleyways with many leading to the canal basin where a leisurely boat trip can be taken. The Gardens is ideally placed for visiting the many places of interest with Grassington, Burnsall and Bolton Abbey offering riverside strolls and pretty picnic areas.

Better than photos

Great location with everything we need, but towels are not provided. Be sure to contact the owner before your trip because VRBO won’t send needed information. The owner is nice. I will stay again next time.

Lovely cottage and attractive courtyard garden.Very quiet even though it is in the heart of the town and good to be able to walk as far as you want along the canal. Two small improvements needed:more cutlery and a paring kitchen knife would be useful.Bathroom basin taps very difficult to turn off. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo
