We had a lovely stay at the Shippon. It's set in a beautiful location in the Yorkshire Dales, and was clean and comfortable. Becky and Joey were great hosts, friendly and helpful and very happy to show us their animals on the farm!
I highly recommend a stay at the Shippon. It's location is great, just up the road from Bolton Abbey and near to Skipton and Ilkley, both towns are worth a visit.

Honestly our favourite place in the world.
Honestly our favourite place in the world.Rebecca and Joey really looked after us, from the minute we arrived.Absolutely stunning views, so incredibly peaceful, the beds were all so so comfortable and I have a terrible back! Gorgeous sofas, the shower was so powerful! We travelled with a 7, 13 and 15 year old and we enjoyed collecting eggs from chickens, feeding the goats, amazing walks and trips to the river, shooting, riding up the the top fields with Joey and the super talented sheepdogs Gip and Rock and so much more.We loved every second apart from when we came home! Next year already booked and we cannot wait to visit our friends at the farm again, both human and animals 😊!!!

Such a lovely stay in this peaceful setting.
Such a lovely stay in this peaceful setting. So convenient for walks from the door. The cottage was comfortable and while dated it had all we needed. The hotvtubb is wood fired and a bit of a faff so we only did it once. Was stone cold next morning. Joey the farmer was lovely and taught us alot about farm life. All in all we had a restful, cozy week. Yorkshire is just sublime.
