"The hotel was under some well needed renovations when we arrived, looks like they were doing a new pool area. The hotel hallways showed signs of neglect, beat up walls, and worn carpets.My big gripe was the A/C in the room was not adequate, the room was hot as they all face the setting sun.They staff did send up a maintenance guy to look at the issue , they said they would let us change rooms but we declined, we just went out for the evening. Luckily I had 3 little fans I took on the cruise with us to add a lil comfort, The valet people were good to us.I will not stay at this property again. "

"I am writing to formally request a refund for my recent stay at Extended Stay America. We arrived at approximately 7 PM and were unable to access the building because all doors were locked. Another guest had already been waiting for over 10 minutes, and we then waited an additional 15 minutes before an employee returned to the front desk to let us in. This created an unsafe and frustrating situation, especially after travel. Upon entering the property, the experience continued to decline: • The front desk employee was extremely rude and unhelpful • Our room contained dirty towels upon arrival • The TV did not have working channels • The beds were extremely uncomfortable, covered in plastic, and made loud noise with any movement, resulting in very poor sleep • The hallways were dirty and the property smelled strongly of marijuana The following morning, when we went to get coffee, the front desk area was completely unattended and the lights were off. At that point, we felt uncomfortable and decided to leave the property before 7 AM. Additionally, the advertised “complimentary breakfast” consisted of only a few packets of oatmeal, a granola bar, and a broken coffee machine, which does not meet reasonable expectations. Overall, this stay did not meet basic cleanliness, safety, or hospitality standards. Due to these issues, I requested a full refund and was denied. Do NOT stay here!"

"We got off a cruise at 8 am and the Hotel let us in our room at 9:30 am! Absolutely saved the day."

"The neighborhood is rough. Homeless outside and vagrants everywhere. "

"We chose this location due to pricing as well as location close to the highway. We didn’t realize that this highway was a toll highway unfortunately. It is located in a commercial or industrial area. I wouldn’t walk around at night time. We are about 20 minutes outside of Ybor. The pool was nice. There weren’t a lot of towels available. Warning breakfast consisted of a selection of dry cereals, as well as hot oatmeal, white bread and bagels that could be toasted jam and peanut butter some juices. There were also eggs and sausage as well as grits. Muffins and assorted pastries. There was also different kinds of yogurts. Nothing fancy, but if you were hungry, this will fill you up."
