The Perfect Place to "GETAWAY'

"Although the listing states you’re getting “whole house” and that’s it’s a 2 bedroom, it isn’t. It is a walkout basement suite with a king size bed in the living room and the home owners living above you and around you for your whole stay. They were outside themselves and had guests of their own, so privacy? No. Are they lovely? Yes. Is it a lovely lakefront suite? Yes. Very comfortable with a GREAT bed. Without that, it would rate a 2-3, because we didn’t expect to live with hosts, nor sleep in a living room with curtains that don’t close, and a lakefront that is VERY difficult to navigate at night because there is virtually no lighting outside and there are rock pathways and sloping lawn to get to your door under their deck. It’s pitch black after 9pm, so bring a flashlight. That said, it’s a good price for a cute space."

"I cannot say enough about the Yooperlite House experience from the tiny house experience to everything the hosts provided by way of amenities and little gifts. When I commented on the spotty WIFI access, Peter came quickly to rectify the problem which was with my computer rather than the system. The setting was marvelous as well--virtually in the woods surrounded by birdsong and rustling leaves. Great place for an urbanite to make retreat."

"The property was very nice. We didn’t spend to much time there. But it was definitely nice to come back to after a long day and take a shower in the huge shower. Fishing from the dock and using the provided kayaks was also a nice touch. Would definitely like to stay again."

"This was our third stay at this property in three years and it was perfect each time.The grounds are beautiful, well kept, and private.The house is charming, comfortable, and well equipped with everything you can need.The host was friendly a quick to respond to the couple questions I had. I also had the opportunity to to talk with the owners. They were friendly and passionate about the property and the guests experiencesThe location is conveniently located close to every attraction in the Western UP! Don't wait to book this property!!"

"We had an amazing, relaxing week at Here on the Bay. Our family had so much fun and we got a lot of quality time together. The bay was quiet and the weather was perfect! We got to swim and fish every day. The kids caught many perch from the row boat. I think our favorite thing about the camp was the sauna. Nothing beats sauna swim on Lake Superior!"
