The hotel had an interesting history as being a notorious prison.

This is an unusual hotel. It feels somewhat like a university dormitory. Cheap fittings and fixtures in the rooms and gaudy colour scheme. The restaurant and cafe are nice but the staff are not trained to a sufficient level. They’re slow to respond, forgetful and not knowledgeable about the menu. The cleaners neither know nor care about customer service - one vacuumed around our table and wrapped an electrical cord around my foot. Hotel was clean modern & close to city, parking available for a fee. Would recommend

I am on crutches and there was no attempt to organise accessible room or indicate where I could park. Bed was not comfortable and apartment was stuffy with all windows open. There was no fan or air conditioning. Kitchen amenities were great. Lots of activities to amuse children.

Nice overnight stay for a family. Kids room was a great place to play for younger kids and the breakfast was excellent.
