"Small mostly clean room right in town that worked well to be close to Palacio de Peña. Bathroom was very small and parking was difficult but overall worked well for just one night! "

"The location was perfect in the historic center near everything and the room was cozy and charming. The bed was comfortable. However, the carpet was not very clean and the bathtub was badly clogged and it took hours to get empty after a shower. We stayed there for two nights and the host promised to send someone to repair it, but it was never repaired, regardless our many messages and photographs of the problem. Not very pleasant in the heat of Portuguese summer."

"Terrific location. Steps from the base of the hike to Pena Palace, a very short walk (2min) to the bustling shops and restaurants. Location was everything! Downsides, tiny bathroom, no hair dryer. All in all, we thought it was charming - good price point and couldn’t get a better location."
