"The main hotel building is an old palacio set in very pretty grounds. It is stunning and beautifully decorated and furnished. The views from the house are really lovely. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. We were given a large apartment in the annexe which was perfect, and very clean. Great shower pressure and wifi, comfy beds and very quiet. Breakfast was excellent and you have timed sittings as the room is quite small and it saves queuing. The location is perfect. A 10 minute walk...

Easy alk to many food and beverage places. On the edge of Historic Centro Sintra. Of note, there are several ‘Boutique Hotels’ in Sintra…clarify ‘Palacio’ and maybe show the address if take a tuk tuk. If you are remotely fit, it’s an easy walk (with rolling suitcase) from the train station. "

"The house is nice and the price for the 2 bedroom was reasonable. The view was nice on a hill. Wifi was good. Amenities were fine with stove, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker and more. The house was clean. The only issue we saw was that one of the walk in closets had mold on the walls so we could not use it. Also hot (or even warm) water was not available all the time.
