"Beautiful house, fantastically furnished and decorated, really drew us in and made us feel comfortable right away. Lots of interesting artwork and furniture pieces that everybody loved. The kitchen is huge and very functional. There were 11 of us and it never felt crowded. We came to spend time together and taste the wine and it was a fabulous weekend with my sisters, nieces, daughter and our stepmother with my nephew and my daughter’s boyfriend as designated drivers. Everybody wants to do it again. And to top it all off, the donkeys, goats and pig are adorable! "

The hot tub, nature trail, pool table and games added special touches that helped us relax and enjoy spending time together. House was very clean, spacious, beautifully decorated, beds were very comfortable, kitchen well supplied - everything you need to cook a nice meal (grill needs replacing though). Star gazing paradise! Close to excellent hiking - Humpback rocks trail. Overall fantastic! "

"Our stay at the Afton Clubhouse was absolutely wonderful and would recommend this property to anyone! Jamie and her BSG Team were awesome hosts, providing the door code shortly before check-in. The clubhouse itself was amazing! Very well designed and thought-out with everything you'd want for a short or long-term stay. As someone who loves to cook, the kitchen was very well stocked. There were plenty of fun games to play and the outdoor space was super cool, though it was too hot for us to enjoy the weekend we visited. If you're looking a great property to stay in while visiting the Charlottesville wine region, Afton Clubhouse would be an excellent choice, not just for it's close proximity to wineries, but for the fabulous amenities!"
