"Nice place and should have been fun stay…except… heat did not work throughout the house and unit in our room was set on air-conditioning. Only “help” received was that there was a space heater in a closet. No excuse !! These “non staff” properties seldom work, in my opinion. No excuse for no heat !!"

The property was in a great location for us as the purpose of our trip was to visit nearby hiking trails and Charlottesville. The house had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay, and the kids loved having the arcade and ping pong table. Thanks for having us!"

"Quiet, Peaceful, absolutely beautiful setting. We stayed in Earth room. If you can envision days gone by where a family lived in one room and stories were told by the fire- this is a modern day version. We loved that all of us were together versus siloed in separate rooms. We also thoroughly enjoyed the gardens and trails around the property. There are many places to sit and connect with nature. "

"Check-in time of 4pm is unacceptable, especially with check-out time of 10am. Paying for two nights and not receiving the full 48 hours is an issue. The national park was closed the duration of my trip, which was unfortunate. This cottage is nice for a couple's retreat if you're doing wine tasting tours. "
