"The service quality and staff are very good. We were picked up in a luxury van from the airport. That was excellent. The rooms themselves are very nice and the breakfast and dinners were also excellent. The main issue is that the town itself really does not have a lot of redeeming qualities. To walk around is not really enjoyable. A lot of the Chinese development has left the area as a bit of a waste land. The major problem with the hotel itself was the fact that we could hear the base...

"Our villa was wonderful, large spacious room. The staff came twice to our villa to carry out housekeeping. The Royal Sands Koh Rong certainly has an eye for detail and think of everything a traveller needs. We are very glad we stayed here. Special mention to Kean and Sela who were amazingly welcoming and assisted with all our various queries. Sela booked us a car to pick us up from Sihanoukville pier to our hotel. The Royal Sands made our stay on Koh Rong perfect!"
