This hotel was nice and at a great price. We stayed outside of Siena to save a little money. The room was nice, but the bed was firm (like most in Italy) and there was no A/C. The bathroom is shared with other rooms, but that did not seem to cause any issues.

ett mycket rent och fräscht hotell i utkanten

jag och min fru stannade i detta hotell som är beläget utanför staden siena för att åka runt toscana. det passade oss då vi hade bil och på de sättet kunde vi enkelt ta oss runt hotellets värdinna ana var supersnäll tillmötesgående och hjälpte till med alla frågor vi hade. skön säng skönt täcke mycket bra badrum! vi e jättenöjda

Hotel b&b a las afueras de Siena, a 5-10 min del centro, el personal te indica donde estan los parkings gratis. Hotel sin ascensor, nos toco subir 2 pisos con las maletas. Habitacion duplex para 4 pax, silenciosa. Desayuno buffet correcto. Parking gratis

Sinceramente avrei messo dei letti un po piu comodi..cuscini un po più gonfi. Si sentono le auto che passano anche con la veneziana e la finestra chiuse completamente. Alle 6 del mattino la stanza è gia illuminata a giorno per la finestra che non è possibile oscurare completamente. Pulizia e gentilezza del personale ottime.

Good accomodations. Cannot walk to the campo

We paid for our room before we left the US. When we arrived at the hotel they insisted that we pay for the room again, even thought we had documentation that we had paid. The hotel is clean and well maintained. Certainly a good price. However, we were told the hotel was less than 2 kilometers from the campo. This may be accurate, but one would definitely not want to walk from the hotel to the campo.

Modernes Hotel in Siena

Modern eingerichtetes Hotel. Siena ist per Bus in knapp einer Viertel Stunde erreichbar. Freundliches Personal, dass bei Ankunft über Bus, Sehenswürdigkeiten und Restaurants in der Nähe informiert. Gutes Frühstück.

Очень славный небольшой отель

Симпатичный небольшой отель на въезде в Сиену с бесплатной парковкой. Очень чистый, с любезным англоязычным персоналом. Мы путешествовали с двумя детьми и получили забавный двухэтажный номер - внизу маленькая комната с двуспальной кроватью, а на "втором этаже" ещё одна комнатка с ещё одной двуспальной кроватью. В стоимость номера /достаточно скромную по понятиям этого региона/ входил вполне приличный завтрак /сыры, колбасы, йогурты, круассоны, фрукты/, а сам администратор варил отличный кофе на профессиональной кофеварке. Особенностью гостиницы является наличие большой кухни, оборудованной большим холодильником, газовой плитой, всей необходимой посудой и здоровенным обеденным столом, так что при желании можно даже приготовить семейную трапезу. До города можно добраться на автобусе или попробовать найти бесплатную парковку под стенами крепости (Фортеции). К недостаткам можно отнести то, что номер был всё-таки не очень удобный, а также расположение относительно далеко от центра. Путешественникам без машины имеет смысл поискать что-то поближе к центру.

Il soggiorno è stato piacevole ma poco confortevole. La mia stanza era ampia anche se poco curata (sembrava rimasta agli anni 80), mancava lo specchio ed era carente di prese elettriche. Ottima pulizia di tutto il complesso. L'ingresso molto moderno ed accogliente. Personale gentile e disponibile. Possibilità di parcheggio gratuito interno ma nel caso molti parcheggi nelle vicinanze.

Definitely not ideal

This hotel is very far from the center of siena and is intermittently connected by public transportation with many of the buses only leaving hourly, or even less frequently. The room was not air conditioned as advertised but rather had a noisy fan. It is located on a noisy and busy street as well. Finally, my towel was quite dirty.

For modest guests

We used their hostel services and stayed just for one night without breakfast. The place is very clean and pleasant, the staff at the reception are willing and helpful. Our room was clean and big enough. The room door was a bit noisy - hard to open and close, it made noise. We shared bathroom - it was ok for one night. We stayed on the first floor in a room with its window facing the main road. The noise from the road in the room at night would not let us fall asleep. When we closed the window there was very hot in the room as there's no air conditioning so we did not get much sleep in this hostel. I presume its better in the spring or autumn when you can keep the window closed. However Soggiorno Lo Stellino is a pleasant clean hotel/hostel for modest travelers.
