"Great adventure, kids liked it. Room is not perfect, and best for 2-3 people though 4-5 can sleep. We had a good stay. Staff is very friendly and accomodating, 5 stars for them. "

"A beautiful spot in the forest, although just a bit far from the sights in Nara. The staff was lovely and the room quite comfortable, by Western standards for a Japanese room (although the futons were by far the hardest and most uncomfortable of the three ryokans we visited). The meals lived up to the reviews, beautifully presented true kaiseki."

"Absolutely gorgeous place, super close to Nara park. After hiking to Mount Wakakusa my wife and I enjoyed the private hot springs. It was surreal enjoying the hot water while listening to the rain in the rock garden area. We would definitely come back if we find ourselves in Nara. "

"Excellent experience. Very clean, attentive housekeeping, ample amenities, and great price for the location. Breakfast buffet is highly recommendable for Japanese and foreigner for the variety. Worth every penny. Will be booking again."
"Really liked this place, especially having the connected room if you are traveling with family. Check in was thorough. There was laundry machines available at an affordable price. The staff was very very sweet I am particularly talking about the sweet cleaning lady on our floor. The room was clean and spacious enough for two big suitcases for two people and adjacent room similar. Not too far from the station, however if you have big suitcases, the walking obviously takes longer. Overall really liked my experience"
"Great location and room was spotless. Staff was friendly and awesome. 10/10 would recommend. Breakfast was awesome but room is small. So get there early to avoid crowds. "
"Located in a great area, walking distance to trains and many of Osaka’s main attractions. Nice size room, spotlessly clean with great amenities. The staff were very helpful and polite. Highly recommend this Hotel. "
"We booked the hotel without knowing it’s a five star hotel. It meets all the standards for a five star hotel - from staff, service, amenities to quality of bakery. We didn’t eat at any of their restaurants because there are many less expensive options near the hotel. Unlike the hotels in Osaka city center at similar price, our room is large and has a beautiful view of Osaka Jo Hall, the Osaka Castle and the big park around it. We highly recommend this hotel and look forward to coming back again. "
