"Very good breakfast, all the staff were extreme welcoming and hospitable, hotel is conveniently located near train station and main Nara shopping and restaurant district, would definitely stay here again."
"Truly wonderful experience. The outdoor bath was a gem and the staff treated us exceptionally well. A warm, welcoming environment. Highly recommend. "
"We had a fantastic stay at the Mikasa Ryokan, which we would describe more as an experience from the moment we entered the hotel, until the moment we were dropped back at the JR Station by the hotel shuttle bus.
The staff are very attentive, the food was excellent and we would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.
We did have a problem in one of the rooms we booked and we were immediately moved to another room within minutes.
Fantastic experience and one everyone should try if...
"Absolutely gorgeous place, super close to Nara park. After hiking to Mount Wakakusa my wife and I enjoyed the private hot springs. It was surreal enjoying the hot water while listening to the rain in the rock garden area. We would definitely come back if we find ourselves in Nara. "

"While a little bit removed from the city ,it location beside Osaka castle and it close proximity to a number of metro and rail lines makes up for it .Staff were more than helpful and extremley polite "
"The hotel is conveniently located near subways stations. There is water dispenser on every floor. The rooms are comfortable and clean. There is coin laundry available. A luggage storage room is also available. Big plus for the hotel is, they offer shopping opportunity to a members only shopping mall near by, which offers big discounts on from clothing to accessories to cosmetics to foods. I only wished I saved more time to shop. "
