Love Fox Creek Lodge!

This is our second time staying with Fox Creek Lodge and we enjoyed it thoroughly. This year we were able to use the nice outdoor pavilion as well as enjoyed a couple hours at the riverside location. This lodge suited our needs perfectly.

Wonderful get away

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay while celebrating our parent’s 50th anniversary. The house has everything you can think of and the fire pit was a huge hit.

We love coming to Fox Creek Lodge.

Chris' lodge is a great place to come and relax but with enough activities close enough to keep everyone entertained. We love the quiet and peacefulness of the property and enjoy rafting on the Shenandoah River.

Cozy cabin in the woods

We didn’t spend a lot of time on property as we are an all women’s hiking group, so spent our days exploring the region, but while we were on property we enjoyed the well appointed kitchen, fireplace and hot tub. In the cold of winter the fireplace really took the chill off! The train that occasionally came by was hardly noticeable. Would stay here again.

Great vacation with family

Our family of 7 had a wonderful time at the cabin. We enjoyed the many walking trails on the property, fire pit, and fully stocked kitchen. We also loved the river site, where we launched our kayaks, fished, grilled and just relaxed. Hosts were very responsive and helpful..

Great, secluded cabin!

The location of the cabin was great and close to caverns, wineries and many outdoor activities. We enjoyed hiking on the property and the peace and quiet. The cabin itself is cozy and roomy and offers all the amenities of home! We loved it there and plan on going back. It is great for families or couples.

Kayak fishing trip

Great place for kayaking and fishing. Home is comfortable and kitchen is stocked well. We had everything needed to cook and bake with. Host is great and fast response!

Home away from home!

This was our second stay at this magic cabin. It's the perfect place for a large family to stay. Simply beautiful inside and out, and extremely well equipped. The owners are very welcoming and responsive. We've already scheduled our visit for next year!

40th Getaway Retreat

Amazing time at Fox Creek! A group of us were celebrating a couple 40th birthdays and it’s a great place to get away and relax in nature. Chris was super communicative!

Really nice house and surrounding area. Was big enough for 10 people to sleep in and everyone had a place to sit. Nice area to hike in and just relax outside. Nice and secluded, but not too far from whatever you need. Would definitely recommend.

Hidden treasure!

The cabin was very clean and nice. Loved the fire pit and had so much fun! Kitchen had everything we needed! We even explored a couple of hidden trails behind the cabin. We will definitely coming back maybe in Spring !!

Total relaxation

This was my 4th time staying at Fox Creek. It simply is the perfect getaway . The owners are very friendly and helpful . The house is perfect for bigger groups . The kitchen is amazing well stocked !! You can just sit back and relax by the fire pit or go on a walk through the trails . Or you can go into town , just a short scenic drive .

Lovely Mountain Cabin

We had a great stay in this very secluded cabin. This is a very quiet area and nice cabin with plenty of land to explore. The kitchen has just be redone and is really nice. The best part for us was the outdoor seating and fire pit area. We really had a nice time. The owners are really easy to get in touch with and very quick to help answer any questions and handle any issues. We would definitely recommend this property.
