"The drive from 101 to Shelter Cove is not for the faint of heart! The Black Sand inn was worth every bit of it! Right on the Ocean. The view is extremely beautiful. The sounds of the waves crashing on the rocks is hypnotic. Great living room and kitchen with everything you need. Bathroom and bedroom were excellent with great linens. If you want peace and relaxation this is the place! My first visit but not my last!"

"The property was amazing. Beautiful house and amazing location. The house hand plenty of space. Kitchen was great with plenty of kitchen supplies. The view is great even with the fog. The only down side is the hot tub did not work during our stay. The owner was having it looked at once we left. The owner was very quick to respond and very friendly. "

"I loved the view! House was super cute and decorated well. Helpful tip: Screen shot the WiFi password before you drive up the mountain down to Shelter Cove because I lost cell service on the drive and got there and couldn’t get on WiFi or use my phone since I didn’t screen shot the WiFi code before hand. Luckily I had screen shot the code to the door. Other than that I loved the stay, watching the seals and going to the beaches. I would definitely stay again if I’m ever out that way again. (I did pick up a cell bar by chance later that night and was able to get the password, other than that I was about to make the 45 minute drive back to cell service to get the password) "
