"Lovely room, helpful staff and super breakfast. Easy parking too. Only minor gripe was that the window didn't stay open and we had to prop it open with a toilet roll. The was a bit of an issue as the weather was unseasonable warm and there is no AC in the room. However, the staff did say this was already noted and action was being taken. This was our second stay at the hotel and we would certainly visit again."

"We stayed at the hotel while attending my son’s ice hockey national final. Overall, the experience was just okay. One of the main issues was breakfast. I had a very early start on Sunday, but breakfast did not begin until 8am, which meant we were unable to use the breakfast we had paid for. I asked the staff whether any food could be provided earlier, but was told this was not possible due to allergy concerns. I also asked whether the money we had paid for breakfast could instead be used towards dinner in the hotel restaurant, but this was not offered as an option either. As a result, I am now having to request a refund from Hotels.com for the breakfast we paid for but could not access. We also used the pool during our stay. Unfortunately, it felt like it could benefit from an upgrade and a more thorough clean. While the staff were polite enough, I did not feel they went the extra mile on this occasion. Given the circumstances, especially knowing we had an early start for a national sporting final, a little flexibility or effort would have made a big difference."

"I was pleasantly surprised by how comfortable and welcoming this hotel was. Parking was difficult to find during the day but by the evening there were plenty of spaces. The staff were very helpful and went out of their way to help me get a travel cot. The bed was comfortable and and curtains near to blackout. Breakfast was nice - and they made me some veggie sausages which were actually good! The swimming pool was lovely and hot, and the spa facilities were clean and we enjoyed our stay. The rooms are dated but clean."

"Very close to Sheffield railway station and easy to find. Check in (& out) was easy and quick. Room was ready well before time stated. The air conditioning was very welcome on a very hot day. Room clean and quiet. I liked that it had a bath but as the shower was over the bath this might be a problem for the less able as climbing into a bath can be difficult."

"The location of this hotel is excellent for everything in the centre of Sheffield, we were attending a wedding at the town hall which is just a few steps away from the from of the hotel The staff were very helpful and friendly The room was spacious and very comfy Very clean. There was water provided and an iron and board, Air con was great as it was a hot weekend Overall a great experience"

"Reception staff were super friendly and helpful, made to feel very welcome. A nice building in a top location. Room spotless, bed super comfy, good bathroom and shower. Breakfast buffet was excellent. Lots of choice, very nice eggs and sausages good quality. Yes some noise from bars near bar but minimal for us in 104 slept right through not a problem. Would definitely use this hotel again."

"Breakfast was very disappointing, fruit dry, bacon overcooked. The black pudding was rock solid, staff didn’t greet on arrival, or clear away plates!! Room was clean and lovely, but being in room 504 the beep every time someone called the lift was incredibly annoying. The bar pumps need cleaning none of the drinks we tried were cold or tasted right, as a result we opted not to go back to the hotel for drink."
