"Super cheap and super basic. Situated In a relatively grim alley, hotel is made up of rooms without external windows set around an internal hall over several floors, feels a bit like a Victorian prison! Still, guy in charge was helpful and spoke good English. It seemed clean, and bed was comfortable enough. For the few hours I spent here in the afternoon waiting for a night bus this did the job great. Don’t book a two week vacation here though."

"Firstly, the staff were just lovely. Their offer for assistance and quickness to respond were amazing. The location of the hotel was within a small block of what I worked describe as alley ways. We were picked up at 4AM for a Taj Tour, and there were people asleep in the alley ways within a short distance from the hotel and unavoidably required to walk past. While there was no issues at all, this was not a situation where I felt 100% comfortable and I would absolutely not let my wife or daughter in that environment. The hotel itself was safe and comfortable enough , but IMO not aligned to the >9 star review and required some attention. It was clean ish but required some TLC. For example the shower head attachment wasn’t on correct and it sprayed water all over the bathroom. The bedding, while not visibly a problem didn’t feel clean or crisp and the walls needed a wipe. I would recommend this from a price point perspective, but would strongly recommend doing your research."

"The Novotel hotel was clean, modern, spacious and had a wonderful rooftop pool with accompanying evening bar and restaurant. We loved sitting at the rooftop bar at sunset with a cocktail. We had limited interactions with the staff as we didn't use the restaurants but those that we did speak to were really friendly. It's a good location for exploring new and old Delhi, however if I were to go back I'd probably choose somewhere closer to South Delhi, so you're somewhere slightly more green and vibrant. But that's a personal preference, rather than anything to do with the hotel itself."

Every team member I interacted with was professional, friendly, and genuinely committed to ensuring guests have a memorable experience. No matter which Leela property I visit, the experience is breathtaking from the moment I walk through the doors until the time I check out. "What a nice find. previously I stayed at the Shangri-La hotel and I thought that was great until I checked into my room at Lalit. Dollar for Dollar, your buck goes further at the Lalit hotel then at other competitions hotels. The rooms are much larger, the breakfast buffet was good as was the staff. I extended my stay here."
