Maycliffe is located in a quiet cliff top cul-de-sac location in Shanklin. Red Funnel Ferry discount when you book this property. It is only a two minute walk to the cliff path that runs along the south east coast line. The beach is just a 10 to 15 minute walk and Shanklin town also just a 15 minute walk. This 5 bed property includes a 22 sqm gymnasium with Running machine, Cycle, Cross trainer, Multi gym and other gym equipment. The gym also has air-conditioning.. Bedroom 1 on the 2nd floor has a full ensuite where the walk in shower doubles as a steam room that can seat four people. Bedroom 2 on the 2nd floor has an ensuite toilet and washbasin and can be configured as two singles or a king. Bedroom 3 on the 1st floor has a full ensuite with walk in shower. Bedrooms 4 and 5 on the 1st floor are separated by a large family bathroom with both bath and walk in shower. Bedroom 4 can also be configured as a twin beds or a king. There is also a toilet on the ground floor. The ground floor comprises a large lounge, a study with writing desk, a large fully equipped kitchen with adjoining dining room (separated from the lounge by double sliding doors) There is also a small utility room that houses a washing machine and tumble dryer. Both the lounge and the dining room have large bi-fold doors that open out on to a very large porcelain patio area. There is a large forecourt driveway that provides off-road parking for several cars.

Very clean and luxurious property. Spacious house with an added benefit of a Gym room. Great location and a 15 minute walk to the beach. We all enjoyed the house a lot, kids to Grown ups !
We had an amazing weekend at Maycliffe. We were a family group of 7 people. The house is beautifully decorated and furnished with some wonderful little touches that make your stay even more enjoyable. The communication with the owners was excellent from start to finish.
The house location is only a few metres away from the coastal path and the town and beach are a short walk or drive away. We will definitely stay here again.

The owners were so welcoming and the property was so modern, clean and well equipped. It was to an excellent standard with so much thought put in.
The owners David and Jaye even left a gift of food and snacks and champagne, card and flowers as it was my mums 80th. They kept in contact throughout and I would definitely recommend this place to others. Beautiful area and plenty to do. It was perfect.

I had seen pictures of the house, so I knew it was lovely but it was even nicer than we imagined. The home is beautifully decorated to a very fine end.
So much detail has gone into accommodating your needs within the house.
To list a few, the welcome food hamper, all the extras in the house necessities you need for appliances etc to get you started. The luxury gels and soaps, the sewing kit! Absolutely 5 star rating. Stunning home. Would thoroughly recommend.
We were a group from 3 generations with ages spanning 6 decades. The photographs provided in the description are accurate and the house has a real wow factor. It provides than enough kit for 10 people and more besides. The BBQ was in storage when we enquired and was promptly delivered first thing the next day. A plus was finding that the property had an EV charger available for use. From the outset of the booking to the end we found dealing with the hosts Jayne and David (mostly David in our case) very easy and they were fast to respond. We had three cars but you could easily park more on the drive. Shortly before arrival the hosts provided access to a document detailing arrival/departure details and useful information about the house and the area, which can be downloaded to your smart phone/device. It was extremely useful. We had a great 13 night holiday and would happily stay here again. As an aside, one member of our group has mobility issues and a local company (Coastal Mobility) in Shanklin hired us a mobility scooter, delivering it first thing the day after our arrival and collecting it on the day we left.
