You do need a car because Masseria Le Lamie is not within walking distance to the nearest town."

"A very clean, tidy and comfortable 3 star hotel that I surmise is family owned and possibly operated. I stayed out of season in April and it was very quiet. The breakfast is continental: mini croissants and viennoiserie ( chocolate and fruits), chocolate biscuits, fruit juices, cappuccino, espresso, cakes, tarts and tiny packs of Italian toast to enjoy with excellent butter and jams. "Beautiful location. The Trullos are unique. Sleeping under a dome is very relaxing. The bedrooms could do with more shelving. Had to leave clothes in luggages on the floor. In the off season, each individual Trullo pool is unheated. I was still able to swim my laps in 20 degrees water. Quite invigorating! Others might not venture at this temperature. The daily included breakfasts were delicious and very healthy. A car is essential as this is true Puglia country living. Expect drive at least...
