"The river access is very nice and the location is good for the national park. The property would be a real gem if the cabin had some improvements. We did not stay the night because of some electrical issues, but the property owner treated us fairly."

"The property is very close to the park. Room was clean, quiet, and just next to the little river. I would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be returning!"
*Specials* 😍 Stunning Main Fork "Kaweah River House" -1/2 Mile to Sequoia Park
10/10 Excellent
"This was a wonderfully relaxing home, and the stream in the back looks even better than pictured. The hosts could not have been more helpful. They did everything they could to make our stay perfect, from before arrival to our last moment there."
"My family stayed at John’s Place from July 3-6 to celebrate my hubby’s 60th birthday. From the moment I booked this place, which was a few months ago, I immediately receive an email from Robin who manages the property with a Welcome Letter and information about the property. She’s pretty awesome! My mother in law wanted to join us and knowing John’s Place can only accommodate 8 people, I talked to Robin to add one more person and said, “No problem.” Our grandkids and kids love the place with lots of things to do but most of all, loved the pool! Would most definitely book this place again. Our grandkids begged to stay a little bit longer and did not want to leave. The kitchen was well stocked as well as the bathrooms. We all slept very well and the beds are comfortable. Went to Sequoia National Park for the day since it’s close. Markets are 10 minutes away if you need supplies. It was a wonderful home away from home and my husband enjoyed his birthday. Thank you Robin for being prompt with the communication. John’s Place is lovely! We all felt right at home and good vibes always."
