Good central location, but was not informed of the hotel name change and address -- causing major inconvenience of time in finding the place and cost of taxi transportation. Some hotel amenities were of poor quality. And, room was too small. On the positive, two ladies of the hotel front staff were good/helpful.

Front desk reception had a stun face, dont feel welcome on my first day, even on my check out day. The house keeping opened/shut the doors and it was very obvious that they were doing their job. Knew that on our days we wanted to sleep in late but 9am is the max you will be able to tolerate with all the banging and loud talking. Bed sheets were not changed thru out the 11 days we stayed. If you are opting long stay, they only provided you with their so call special treatment ie a banana and apple on first day. Only one small tube of shower gel, lotion, shampoo and conditioner were given each day miserably. Place is near Myeongdong eating street. Drinking/restaurants are nearby proximity. Can be quite noisy late night. We stayed on 7th floor. Room was quite dusty and we kept sneezing each time we make our bed. From Euljuki (1) subway, take exit 1.

Great location and very comfortable and clean
Great location. Easy to get to metros and airport bus service. Close to many restaurants and walking distance to all local attractions and markets. Clean, comfortable and quiet. Many coffe houses close and opposite so dont need to worry about breakfast. Would highly recommend

Convenient, cozy and clean :) there are water dispensers on every floor which is really good and free flow of bottled water at the lobby (though it was always out of stock). The area is a comfortable walking distance to Euljiro 1-ga subway and myeongdong. The area is filled with supper places so no shortage of local joints for food (and 3 convenience stores) though the area outside the hotel may get a little noisy as there are drunk groups after dinner. We had a problem with our hot water pressure and it wasn't fixed for 2 nights (really annoying) and even though the technician was really nice and apologetic and tried his best to help us - was perplexed why they didn't bother fixing it in the day when we informed them. The hotel can also order take away Nene fried chicken for a small fee and that was a really nice touch! All in all, had a good stay.

The room was very clean and the room cleaning service was excellent. They restock us on amenity everyday. The bed was super comfy and the blanket was like sleeping on a cloud. The hotel smell great and the elevator was quick and smooth. The staffs also helped us call the taxi which was so helpful because the language barrier was a huge problem when trying to communicate to the taxi drivers. Hotel is not too far from the shopping district like a 5 min walk away. The only cons are that the pillows are too flat so I got neck pain in the morning and the lowest temp in the room was 25°. Regardless of what temp you set the control setting is ultimately up to the hotel. Overall We would come back again. Ohh and the coffee shops near the hotel is soo good

AFirst is truly a five star in terms of service and cleanliness. Location is tucked away in the less busy area of myeongdong but surrounding areas are very safe and lively at night. I was truly impressed by the eagerness of the staff to help out with our enquires and were always polite and friendly. There was an incident where I thought I had threw away my T-money card in the garbage after checking out. We ran back to the hotel hoping to catch house keeping before they clean our room but the lady had already combined all our garbage with the other rooms. The cleaning lady didn’t mind and helped me dig through the garbage together which I really appreciated and she even kept looking after I gave up. I truly appreciate Afirst service very much and I definitely will return again. Thank you so much!!

Very nice and clean hotel, good location
Overall a nice a clean hotel. Everything was great. Very new and modern feeling to the hotel. Clean and good service. I would be sure to ask for a quiet room because it seems that during busy times, it may get loud. But overall, everything was great. I would definitely stay again. It's also less than a five minute walk from a popular strain station

Location is fantastic in a quieter part of town, but still very accessible to the bustling Myeongdong, and close to multiple subway stations. Room is clean, with sufficient space for the three of us. Thumbs up to the front desk who helped with printing, booking cabs, providing umbrellas etc. A minor point to highlight is that the shuttle bus is no longer in service. Unfortunately the hotel website has not been updated of this yet. Overall, I would happily return to stay in this hotel the next time I am in town.

Good for the price
Really good price for the location. The first night however the temperature in my room was at 28 degrees, even though I had it set at 20. Had to go down to the lobby at 2 in the morning to let them know. It did seem better after that. That's my only main complaint. Everything else was fine. Even a half decent workout room, just need heavier weights.

Good location near lots of food places. Was quite busy though so there was a lot of noise outside late at night/early morning. Good facilities and friendly staff, very welcoming. Bathroom layout was a bit weird with the door, but the amenities were good. Laundry available.

Things I like about is location that close to subway & bus station. So easy to travelling around the city. Staffs are helpful and be pleased to serve good service. There are bunch of restaurant around. All great~!!

Excellent location close to the shopping district of Myeongdong. Very close to Lotte Department store and train station. The staff were excellent and accommodating to our request with a little earlier check in and keeping our bags after check out. The room was very comfortably large and very modern. I would come to stay here again next time I come to Seoul

Location of the hotel around 5 to 8 mins walk to subway. Kind of difficult to locate it initially..well..once u stayed for a couple of days that will not be a problem. Serve coffee bean an md tea leaf sachet for you to make in the room.

I'd need excess to CNN or BBC or other European channels but the service was not available. I may not be able to book with this hotel for that reason. Hotel staffs' services were EXCELLENT. Easy access to downtown. Laundry room is a plus.

The service from this hotel is superb. Meyongdong about 10mins walk away, close to train and many restaurant nearby. But air con was shut down and quite stuffy during our stay in Oct. Called to complain and they quickly bring a fan over. Overall this hotel is clean, near to subway and service is superb! Will definately come back.

Good central location
Location is convenient for taking the metro. Only 2 mins walk to Eujiro 1 ga stn with lift access. Also walking distance to palaces and some attractions, Myeongdong shopping area etc. Though surrounded by small alleys but appear safe. Also the alley shops provide many choices of food restaurants, cafes, and convenience shops. Hotel reception is friendly and helpful. Hotel also has free shuttle to a few locations which is really a plus. Room size is adequate and clean. However wardrobe is a bit small and has no door to it. Bathroom shower door is not proper as water always spilled out from the shower area to the wash basin area making the whole bathroom wet.

Loved it!
The only complain I have is that there was a pillar in the middle of the room which made getting in and out of bed awkward. Everything else was perfect! Hotel was clean, service was excellent, friendly staff at the reception who went way out of their way to help me with anything I asked for. Location is right near the Myeondong shopping street, metro access, and mall. I would definitely stay there again.

Great Hotel with Great Rate
General Info - 3 people in Triple Room for 3 nights - visiting families in Seoul. Pros - Absolutely clean room and bath room. 3 singles beds were very comfortable with fluffy comforter. Mini refrigerator with 3 free bottle of water. Free Wi-Fi with better speed then what I have at home. Secured access to the upper floors with keycard scan in the elevator. Smack in the middle of everything, 5min walk to multiple subway lines and Airport Limousine Bus Stop. Free shuttle ride to near by Point of Interest. Hotel staff was hit or miss. Some were super nice, some were not. I read some reviews about sound coming through the walls but I did not experience that. It was super quite through out our stay. Cons - Pillow was flat? I really did not find anything negative about the place.

Very equipped hotel with complete amenities
My spouse and daughters are pleasantly delighted with the convenience and cleanliness of the hotel, having deprived them of 4-5 stars alternatives. Coin operated laundry, gym, shuttle bus are a few extra delights that are pleasing to the females here. At end of day, have more bangs in our pockets for shopping which is of course very welcoming to add to our trip experience.
