"The room was spacious, we had twin beds and there was enough space for both of us. The bed did block the freezer but it was nice to have a big fridge and freezer. Plenty of storage and a relatively quiet spot and quiet hallway. We did not get woken up by other residents at all. There was a kettle in the room and enough cups and plates. The AC and heating was a bit tricky to work out and most nights it was too hot. But once we figured it out it was fine. Housekeeping doesn't come every day unless you ask for it through the qr code and some days we would forget which was annoying. There are only 2 bins and none in the kitchenette area which was annoying mostly because the bins are small and inconvenient with no bin under the sink. There was some weird mechanical noise coming from either the AC or the mechanical room that was in our room which was annoying g but we slept with earplugs most nights so we managed. We never figured out where that noise came from as it was irregular. The room was not impresspressive but it had everything we needed and was a good sized room. We chose this place for the size of the room and the fact that it had a kitchenette and fridge. Metro station was only 5 minutes walk away and there was a Daiso and Olive young nearby. It is not in the busy and popular areas but most of them were only 20-30min train ride away so it was fine. Overall we are happy with this place as it was good price for all that we got."

"Very well-run hotel. Also very convenient. Close to Gongdeok Subway Station (not recommended for Senior travelers). Taxis (recommended mode of transportation for Senior travelers). are very affordable and you can use the Uber app in Seoul. The BEST way is to have the Glad Mapo hotel staff arrange the taxi to your destination. They will inform you of the taxi cost in Korean won. The staff arranged the airport transfer (large van for 4-adults & 5-suitcases for 100,000 Korean won (about $75 USD). They informed us to wait on the comfortable sofas in the 9F Lobby and that the driver will meet us!"

"Our room was comfortable, quiet, and clean. The staff was very helpful with each special request we had. The price was a bit on the high side compared to what we have paid in the best, but it was definitely worth it. As someone who has made more that 25 lengthy visits to Korea (often for more than a year at a time), I would have to say that Mapo-gu is one of my favorite districts in Seoul."

"Takes 45 min straight from Incheon Airport to Holiday Inn Express via ARAX. The hotel is conveniently located just above exit 5 of Hongik station. Plenty of amenities locally- lots of young students so buzzing until late night. However extremely safe and haven’t had any problems with anyone. Everyone is courteous and polite. Extremely rule-abiding people and expect the same from visitors too!! Our room on 13 th floor— small but compact for 2; Little disappointed about lack of wardrobes but actually didn’t matter. Clean bathrooms and toilets; warm water available all day. The rooms were actually cleaned and linen/towels changed daily, though we didn’t request them. Its a bit further away from the city centre (40-45 min) by Tube so if you are attending conferences like we did in COEX then may not be the best location. Breakfast was included and reasonably plenty of options that my 22 year old son tried and loved. Washing and dryer on the 16th floor and easy to use via cards. Overall a good experience and value for money!!"
