"In August we booked for a 3 night stay in November as part of our honeymoon tour of SEnegal. We booked and paid for a superior double bungalow. On arrival they had no record of our booking but I was able to verify booking by showing my booking details and receipt on my phone. They told us that we could have the booked room for one night only as it was booked for someone else for the second two nights. They offered us a basic cabin and this is what we accepted as we did not want to take the room...

"This was a rustic lodge on an island off the coast from Missirah. Despite challenges finding the boat launch and getting the pirogue to take us to the lodge, we had a good stay. The hostess, Kiki, was warm and inviting. The property felt a bit tired (I think many properties in rural Senegal have this from the lack of tourists during the pandemic restrictions), the place had a number of activities to try. "Belle expérience de vivre dans ce lieu sauvage, dans une cabane construite, décorée et aménagée avec amour par la propriétaire. Notre petit fils de 12 ans a été totalement conquis par ces lieux. "

"Great space! Very clean and very great location. Gabriel was incredibly helpful with getting us a guide for a tour, Charles, who was also great! Hotel staff was helpful in showing us places to go in the area to eat/explore. Staff very friendly and willing to help with solving any problems with transportation, etc that arrived during our stay. Amazing location and staff all around!"
