Great Family Gathering Spot

For a Family looking for a home with 6 BR's and a dock, this is a great choice as long as you come prepared to share 4 bathrooms among 6 BR's. Dock includes canoe and kayaks. Large back yard -- great for kids to play in and a fire pit for s'mores.

We had a wonderful stay Thanksgiving weekend. It was our home away from home for 5 days

We could not have asked for better home to stay in to celebrate our first holiday without our parents/grandparents. The younger ones enjoyed kayaking and playing soccer in the back yard. The rest of us enjoyed hanging on the porch playing card games or just hanging out. It was a bitter sweet weekend that we won’t forget.

Intimate wedding ceremony

Most beautiful property. Very peaceful. Warming nature energy. We reserved this location for our small intimate wedding ceremony. Absolutely perfect in every way. We were able to have the ceremony in the spacious backyard looking out at lake. We had 30 people as guest and everyone was comfortable and all loved the property. I’m sure there will be some bookings from our friends and family for this property. Gene, the owner, was above and beyond in communicating with us. Even though I didn’t get to met him he just felt like a longtime friend of the family.

Lovely home...lovely outdoor setting

This place is simply amazing! Our family (from several states) was looking for a place to spend the weekend together. After looking and researching, we settled on this place. We were hoping to find it as the reviews stated, but it exceeded our expectations! Although it was a little tight for our family of 15 adults and 10 kids, it was worth sacrificing just a little for all the benefits. The little cove was so perfect for the oldest down to the 1-year olds. We spent most of every day playing by/in the water. The boat dock was convenient for our needs as well. The house itself is beautiful! The four bathrooms are conveniently located. The decks outside are so pleasant and spacious! The owners were very kind and understanding to work with. (I’d give them more stars if it were an option.) Thank you, Gene and Judy, for sharing your lovely home with our family. The time we spent together as a family will always be a fond memory!

Beautiful Lake Keowee Home

The weather was rainy and cold but we still had a very relaxing week just taking in the beautiful views from the porches!!! We have stayed at this home every summer for the past 15 years. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else, this is the BEST home on the lake!

Clemson Thanksgiving

Our daughter is at Clemson and we have family in Charleston so we wanted to do a Thanksgiving getaway to incorporate all and the big game on Saturday after Thanksgiving! Everyone loves the house and we had plenty of room to spread out and be together. Tranquil Lane does not disappoint!

Perfection on the lake.

I had wedding guests in town from UK and over the states. Everyone had a fabulous time, the house is huge and has plenty of rooms and space so that you are not on top of each other. We jumped in the lake and swam or kayaked every morning and sat by the fire a couple of the nights. I wish it was my year round house!

Keowee Hurricane

This was planned to be a family trip from Sunday to Sunday. Gorgeous home on a beautiful lake with plenty of room for all of us. THe water was clear and warm - much nicer than what we have in central NC. Unfortunately our kids weren't able to join us until Wednesday evening. Beginning Thursday, Helene started coming Through and then on Thursday night, it came in earnest. Many trees down and no power but the house was fine. But as a result we had to cut our vacation short leaving Friday afternoon. All that being said, the Host was helpful and as accommodating as he could be. We'd rent there again in a heartbeat. Our kids will have stories to tell about how they rode out a hurricane on Lake Keowee.

Great family get together

All the brother, sisters, and spouses just had a great time. We had more than enough parking for are cars and pontoon boat & trailer. The bedrooms & bathrooms were all spacious and clean. The kitchen & dining areas were spacious and well equipped. Our host was very accommodating and even called to see if everything was ok and asked if we needed anything. The weather and the lake were perfect too. Thanks you!

I cannot say enough good things about this beautiful property. The homeowners were so accommodating and gracious!! We enjoyed the spacious home and all the amenities kayaking, fishing and relaxing in the quiet cove on Lake Keowee. Grocery shopping was neatly by so we were able to cook all our meals in the well equipped kitchen. We are looking forward to our next trip to this tranquil location!
