Fewer F&B outlets than I recall from prior visits. Leal Senado opposite the square has a library that is worth checking. Solmar restaurant a short walk from here is also a piece of "old Macau"

Property is well appointed with excellent location and good facilities, however, below average customer service with mistakes made at check-in and check-out spoilt the overall experience. Hotel caters almost exclusively to Chinese tourists, which is expected, but worth noting that English speaking skills of staff are limited and the food options are also very limited towards local tastes.
