"We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely place just outside the city, it was incredibly quiet and peaceful. We loved the private pool lumbung, which was clean and comfortable. The only downside was the shower; the water pressure was low, and the warm water didn't work very well. Other than that, it was a great stay, and we had a wonderful time!"

"This place far exceeded my expectations and I wish I could have stayed longer. From the moment I arrived to the moment I left I was treated like family. The staff greeted me with fresh juice and an offer to make me dinner. The next morning Valorie(one of the owners) facetimed me and made sure everything was good and generously offered me a massage. "There was poor internet access and not able to watch any tv shows for almost a week!!! At outdoor kitchen were infested with lot of ants.And those dishes were not even cleaned and stored away. Bathroom dirty towels were even reused in bathroom cabinet without changing for fresh cleaned towels. Also at nights, there were loud noises including loud music and conversations right next to our cabin. Very distrurbing noises thru the nights..will never use this resort ever again.."

"A beautiful setting with wonderful staff, even if one or two lacked attentiveness. The bamboo bungalow was beautiful. The bed and beddings were 5/5; very comfortable. Unfortunately, the accolades stop there. Because the "retreat" is so remote, there are no other eating options nearby so guests have to rely on the hotel restaurant. As good as the food was (save for the cold soups), the options were very limited. This was unacceptable given we were the only guests and the menu was not extensive at...
