"Schön eingerichtet, außer morgens jedoch sehr dunkel. Terasse hat vormittags Sonne. Einladender Garten vorhanden! Nur Nachbarn nebenan, niemand drüber! Direkt an einem rauschenden Bach sowie nahe Schnellstraße und Bahngleise. Wer bei offenem Fenster schläft, sollte das wissen. Außerdem fehlen leider Fliegengitter. FEWO hat soweit alles, was man braucht. Inhaberin sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Toll ist auch die Waschmaschiene, die für alle zur Verfügung steht nach Absprache. "

"Pros: L’appartamento era moderno, pulito, provvisto di tutti gli utensili necessari. Appena fuori dal paese, la vista delle montagne tutt’intorno era bellissima. La posizione è ottima: ben collegato a tutti i paesi della Val di Casies e della val Pusteria da una strada che è facilmente percorribile anche per chi è poco abituato a guidare in montagna. Gli host sono stati cordialissimi e pronti a rispondere alle nostre richieste. Consigliatissimo!"

"Das Bild für das Apartment ist schöner als die Wirklichkeit. Die Möbel sind verbraucht und der Waschraum nicht gefliest. Vor dem Haus verläuft eine Verbindungsstraße der Orte, die recht häufig befahren wird. Die Wohnung nebenan wurde in dieser Woche zweimal an junge Leute (Gruppe von 6-8 Personen) vermietet, man hörte in unserer Wohnung fast alles. Auch kam eine Gruppe erst nach 21:00 Uhr an, die sehr laut waren und nach dreimaligen Reklamieren nach 22:00 Uhr keine Ruhe einhielten!"

"Wir sind als Familie (3 Personen) für 4 Tage in der Unterkunft gewesen und von dem Urlaub begeistert! Der Betreiber hat die Alm umgebaut und alte sowie moderne Elemente perfekt kombiniert. Die Lage ist sehr ruhig, der Betreiber ist cool und äußerst freundlich. Der Saunabereich ist traumhaft, Schnee gab es auch reichlich. Die gesamte Unterkunft ist modern eingerichtet, komplett ausgestattet (Fußbodenheizung, Bettwäsche, moderne Küche, Geschirr, TV, Wlan...), und die Sauna lädt zum Verweilen ein....

"The hotel stay was excellent, my whole family of 4 (2 adults + 2 teens) loved this hotel. We booked a studio room (double bed and a bunk bed). Room was very clean with a small kitchen area, dining table and a sofa. It is close to ski station and many eateries within walking distance. The reception area at level 4 was superb! You can just sit and relax at the lounge area there, relaxing and enjoyjng the beautiful mountain scenery. Our boys loved to play chess at the lounge area. There is on-site parking, laundry facility and vending machines selling drinks and snacks. The reception staffs were all very courteous and approachable. Highly recommended!"

"Hotel Sonne is a comfortable hotel right in the center of Lienz, a quick walk from the train and bus stations. The interior of the building itself is definitely dated and a bit austere, but that really didn’t impact my stay. My room was comfortable and had a fantastic view of the mountains. The breakfast options were great, and I appreciated that breakfast itself started at 6:00 (I’m an early riser). The staff were friendly and accommodating. I didn’t have time to try the sauna or the gym, but I’m glad they were included. The price was fair and good value."

"Two sisters run this hotel and they are wonderfully kind and involved in making any stay here exceptional. The service is second to none. The breakfast is spectacular, with locally sourced farm to table products. They have a huge assortment of great tea and desserts available to guests. We didn’t hit the spa, as we stayed here during our time hiking in the Dolomites. It was a bit further out from some of the hotels nearer the hikes but it is absolutely worth it to be in such a beautiful place with such incredible hospitality. "

"Entire upper floor is for your use. Three large bedrooms and two bathrooms. Very quiet—it’s a sheep farm. Hostess Sandra speaks excellent English and is very helpful. I loved the fancy coffee machine. It has a nice view over the whole town of Matrei. "
