Beautiful property within the shadow of the Dolomites. Staff were absolutely delightful and friendly. Very nice breakfast with fresh squeezed orange juice and amber sugar crystals for my tea!! Shopping very close and all amenities covered. Would stay again in a heartbeat!

Comfortable stay in a lovely town!

Hotel Sonne is a comfortable hotel right in the center of Lienz, a quick walk from the train and bus stations. The interior of the building itself is definitely dated and a bit austere, but that really didn’t impact my stay. My room was comfortable and had a fantastic view of the mountains. The breakfast options were great, and I appreciated that breakfast itself started at 6:00 (I’m an early riser). The staff were friendly and accommodating. I didn’t have time to try the sauna or the gym, but I’m glad they were included. The price was fair and good value.

Should have stayed elsewhere.

What a disappointment. The hotel is undergoing renovations. They did not mention this on the booking site. Roof top bar not available. Outside seating in the middle of construction. Condition of hotel appalling. The staff were lovely and room was clean but very tired dated with no appeal.

The hotel is very rundown. The blinds in the room didn’t work properly. The windows were dirty. The bathroom fixtures were old and stained. The rugs were stained, worn out and not vacuumed. The only good thing to say was that the evening receptionist was very friendly, and the breakfast was good. We cannot recommend this hotel and suggest staying elsewhere. We cannot recommend staying here

Het is een oud hotel,Maarrrrr.kamers schoon en netjes.elke dag word er schoon gemaakt, en handoeken ververst..de eigenaren zijn het aan het renoveren, dus er nog werk te doen..vriendelijk en meedenkend personeel, de eigenaren zijn zeer behulpzaamen...ontbijt zeer goed,schoon en veel vers...als je een bakkie koffie wil overdag, even vragen, en je krijgt het🤗...echt voor ons een fijn en goed hotel...soms moet je even door sommige dingen heen kijken, wij zijn niet veeleisend🤗 ook de airco komt goed begreep ik, maar een raampje open en met een ventilator lukt het ook wel😎...Nogmaals dank voor de gastvrijheid, .

Wir haben eine Nacht im Hotel verbracht und uns insgesamt wohlgefühlt. Das Hotel ist zwar etwas in die Jahre gekommen, bietet aber eine angenehme Atmosphäre. Besonders positiv hervorheben möchten wir den kostenfreien Tiefgaragenparkplatz für Motorradfahrer – eine tolle Dienstleistung! Auch das Personal war durchweg sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstücksbuffet war reichhaltig und bot eine gute Auswahl. Unser Zimmer war geräumig, aber leider ohne Klimaanlage. An warmen Tagen wäre ein Ventilator sehr hilfreich gewesen. Wir hatten ein Zimmer zum Johannesplatz, der abends gut besucht ist – entsprechend war es etwas lauter, was man bei der Lage aber einplanen kann. Trotz kleinerer Punkte hatten wir einen guten Aufenthalt und werden das Hotel bei einer nächsten Reise in der Region gerne wieder berücksichtigen.

Sauberes altes Hotel mitten im Zentrum

Wir haben eine Nacht auf unserer Fahrradtour im Hotel Sonne verbracht. Unser Zimmer war bis 22 Uhr ein bisschen laut von der Strassenmusik aber dann ruhig. Das ganze Hotel schien uns renovationsbedürftig aber die Zimmer waren grosszügig und sauber. Es hat alles funktioniert. Freundliches Personal an der Rezeption. Gute Parkmöglichkeit für die Fahrräder. Ideal gelegen mitten drin. Etliche Essensmöglichkeiten in der Nähe.

Centralissimo, con tutti i servizi essenziali (oltre colazione a buffet, garage per auto moto e bici) e un validissimo riscaldamento invernale, camere luminose, bagno con vasca e senza bidet, garantisce ai suoi ospiti un ottimo punto di appoggio su Lienz anche per lo sci, avendo la fermata deil bus gratuito (comunale) a pochi metri. Così come a pochi passi si trovano tutti i negozi del centro e la stazione. Personale cortese e cordiale, così come gran parte della popolazione sempre disponibile anche a cercare di parlare in italiano.
