"Clean, beautiful, relaxing. Waterfalls were bone dry August 2025 but the property and area was amazing. Went to a spot on the Buffalo river about 40 min away for a swim instead. Host was nice and informative!"

"Right on the water, great for all ages. Moon shadow is a beautiful cozy place to stay any season. Has everything you need to enjoy the lake and the surrounding wilderness. Private and peaceful. I would suggest and awd or 4wd vehicle for the drive up and down especially if youre not accustomed to driving a mountain road or trails as the road to the lodge is steep and narrow in some sections. The host was wonderful and answered any questions immediately. Definitely one of the best host ive experienced."
