"Enjoyed the stay. Room was very good. A little dated. Room service not so good. Never topped up coffee milk etc. sundries which you had to pay for were missing which could have lead to being charged for something we did not have. Had to remind reception twice of this. But would stop there again as overall experience was good "

"We had a junior suite overlooking the river which was nice enough, we thought the bathroom required an update. No towel heating rail, no underfloor heating so it was cold. Perhaps we were spoiled the year before as we stayed in The Hermitage suite which was superb, far preferred it however I expect more expensive. The staff were all very helpful and friendly and we enjoyed the swimming pool. The breakfast was excellent and the evening meal was good, however I think there could have been more choices in the main meals menu."

"Beautiful location, staff very welcoming and attentive. Excellent evening meal in the restaurant on both nights we stayed. Attention to detail of the staff was superb. The hotel is undergoing a running update so things will only get better. Thoroughly recommend, we will be returning."
