Frequently asked questions

When is the best time to go to Schramm?
The best time to go to Schramm is during the spring (September to November) or autumn (March to May) months, when the weather is most pleasant for exploring.

During these periods, you'll find comfortable temperatures, typically ranging from 15°C to 25°C, with less humidity and rainfall compared to the summer. This makes it ideal for enjoying outdoor activities like hiking in the nearby natural parks or visiting the local vineyards. The milder conditions are great for couples looking for a relaxed trip, as you can comfortably stroll through the town's historic centre or enjoy al fresco dining.

The summer months (December to February) are also popular, especially for families. While it can be hotter and more humid, with temperatures often exceeding 30°C, this is when the region's waterfalls and rivers are at their fullest, offering refreshing swimming opportunities. Many local festivals and events also take place during this time, providing entertainment for all ages.

Conversely, winter (June to August) brings cooler temperatures, sometimes dropping to single digits, and more rainfall.
Can I cancel my hotel reservation on Expedia?
Many Expedia hotel reservations are refundable, provided that you cancel before the hotel's cancellation deadline − this is often within 24 to 48 hours of your scheduled arrival. If you have a non-refundable booking, it might still be possible to receive a refund if you cancel it within 24 hours of booking. Be sure to check your booking confirmation for the exact cancellation policy. How can I save on a hotel booking in Schramm with Expedia?
