"Checked in at 1 am. After a tiring trip. From desk member didn’t greet me. Just asked for id, gave me the keys. Didn’t inform about preauth on credit card. Cleanliness is average. Smell of detergents and fresheners too strong. Liked quality of soap& shampoo in bathroom. Bed was ok but had a loud squeezing noise every time I moved."

"Besides Lobby and Rooftop / Location Draw - The Rooms are far from comfortable: - Excessive noise from surrounding units, above, and from the parties/apartments around. In addition there is a horn from a train and industrial all night including traffic. I could not sleep even with ear plugs. Please see video for a banging and footsteps experienced, it was much worse during partying hours - Rooms do not use hypoallergenic or fragrance free cleaning products, it smelled heavily of cleaners upon entering. Worse, the bedding (pillows) gave me a serious rash on the back of my neck. When I noticed this I started checking the sheets early in the morning worried for bedbugs, did not see any signs but did find disgusting stains on the comforter. - Rooms are cramped. I even toured a suite which I was going to book all weekend and very glad I didn’t. they are quite stripped down and basic. - Showers are comfortable but a lot of the lighting in the bathroom didn’t work properly. - When staff asked how the stay is and I said I could not sleep due to banging they looked at me disturbed. I’m not sure if they interpreted “banging” incorrectly. - Basic AC Marriotts or 3star hotels are more comfortable. I would have had a better sleep glamping in hocking hills. If you’re there to party on the rooftop or with the surrounding apartments and don’t care comfort or sleep then this might be the hotel for you. Not the luxury zen hotel advertised "

"Charming doesn’t begin to describe this lovely property, which is in the ideal location for exploring what the German Village has to offer. The photos do not do this listing justice! It is cozy, well-stocked, whimsical yet grounded, and makes you feel immediately at home. You can tell that thought was put into this home, and no expenses spared to ensure high-quality touches. The beds and bedding were phenomenal; they were so comfortable it made me not want to leave them. I loved the added touch of fresh flowers in the kitchen as well.There was so much serene, natural lighting with all the windows that we didn't even need to turn lights on during the day. The curtains blocked the light wonderfully at night when needed however. The porch and entrance were private and so peaceful. We'd never been to this area, and the host recommended some places that we did not regret visiting. I also cannot say enough how sweet and thoughtful the host, Corey, was and how much more special his kindness made our trip. Thank you for that! He even asked how we enjoyed different things and was personal, while still keeping communication up to us (not at all invasive, etc). There were so many restaurants, coffee shops, a park, and more within walking distance. We were there for a concert at Kimba Live and it was an inexpensive, 10-minute Uber drive from the cottage. I would absolutely love to stay again in the future, and really did feel at home. The cottage was so unique and wonderful."

"There was no parking available in the lot. This was supposed to be in the brewery district, but there were no breweries in walking distance."

"This hotel is adequate at best though it is very 'tired' and needs a face-lift. The towel rack fell off the bathroom wall. There was no shower soap and only 1 tiny soap on the bathroom counter, also no body lotion. I had to go to several floors to find an ice machine that actually worked. The pictures on the wall were all askew but couldn't be straightened because they were permanently affixed to the wall. Our room didn't have a frig or a microwave. The one positive is that the king-sized bed was very clean and very comfortable and the large TV was a plus. "
