"The inside is much nicer than the outside. Clean sheets, clean room, and friendly staff."

"Parking was fine, breakfast had all the right items, staff was pleasant but the room itself was sub-par—things didn't work (like lamps, clock) no black out curtains couldn't pull the drapes closed either. Was moved to a better room, but hotel still needs an upgrade. Hallway carpets stained and dirty. Patched drywall in hall (unsanded or painted). Was told we got a "re-done" room, but another employee in the morning contradicted that information. Glued dispensers of hand soap and lotion in the bathroom fell off the wall in the night. The shower curtain bar was very corroded—this is in the re-done room....One had to unplug a light to turn it off..But the bed was great, very comfortable so all was not lost! "

"We have stayed here before with no problems. But this time the shower streamed water out the side of the sprocket getting the floor soaked. We got back there late at night, so we weren't going to call someone up when we had kids to get to sleep. Then my daughter got in her bed and there was candy and candy wrappers in the bed. So they didn't change the sheets from their prior guest. We won't be going back there again."

"Housekeeping banged on my door at 9:45 am & asked if I wanted service. Since I was awaken & had to get up to go to the door, I advised the maid & the supervisor with her that the bathroom soap dispenser on the sink was empty. The supervisor said she would have it replaced right away. She never did. A day later - still no replacement."

"The staff is always anxious to help And. The location is excellent. We like the beds and we like the decor. Everything was clean and there’s plenty of parking away from the road for when we traveled by Motorcycle as well. It’s close to restaurants and Main Street and shopping and very easy to get to from the highway and easy access back to the highway when you’re going home."

"The Stockade Inn is beautiful! The location is great. I walked everywhere. Parking lot behind the Inn was nice. My room was large and lots of space, although no luggage rack, so I place my suitcase open-faced on the bed, so I didn't have to get on my hands and knees. There was plenty of closet space and lots of room for me to hang up my clothes. Large bathroom, although limited counter space for toothbrush, etc. No water came out when I tried to turn on the hot water faucet in my room that night. Washed my face in very cold water and when I tried to wash my hands the following day. Still no water. NO coffee provided. I was up at 5AM (grateful that the hot water worked in the shower). I walked around the neighborhood for over an hour searching for coffee. Nothing was open before 8AM? Even Super 8 provides coffee. I talked with the HBO crew that was there filing "Guilded Age" and they were looking for coffee, as well. When I was driving out of the parking lot, the guys were all asking me if I finally found a coffee shop that was open. Crazy."
