Amazing view and straight outside of Peasholm Park. Delicious breakfast every morning. Comfortable, spacious and beautifully decorated rooms and hotel in general. Our second stay there amd would return again.

Nice small hotel in quiet close at the top Peasholm park. Walkable to North Bay attractions, with bus services to town centre and South Bay. Friendly host, good breakfast and clean room. I stayed three nights in a single room, with comfortable four foot bed. Room was compact but had everything I needed for my stay. Good value as well!

I loved everything about the Russell , the owners made you feel so welcome , the room was perfect The guest house was spotless clean , the breakfast was delicious and cooked to order . I would highly recommend this hotel to others

The owners were friendly and helpful. We stayed 2 nights and the hotel suited our needs. We were in room 4 which was small but had everything we needed. We would stay there again.

Great stay at a lovely place.

What a lovely place to stay close to Northbay and only £6 for a Taxi to Southbay. The Hotel is clean comfortably and ran by a lovely couple with a great Breakfast. What more do you need. We will return.

Nice decor. Had good breakfast each day including gluten free hot food and glutrn free toast,which the host went and bought for me staying when i said i was gluten free. Comfortable bed and room was nice , bathroom clean. Good working shower. Would definitely stay again.

Great location for the scarborough open air theatre and peasholm park. Nothing was too much to ask. From the highchair at the breakfast table and travel cott bed supplied in the family room. Private off road parking. Run by a lovely friendly couple. A very nice breakfast and even gave us fried bread that we cheekily asked for.

Great value

Excellent quiet hotel, great value for money. Perfect location for theatre/North Bay beside Peasholm Park. Really friendly staff, comfortable bed/room, lovely breakfast which was just right amount. Enjoyed it so much I booked an extra night! Also as a solo traveller I felt comfortable and safe. Breakfast service only an hour 8.30-9.30 as it’s small but it never felt busy at breakfast & was perfect time for me anyway. Very generous with tea/coffee/milk/sugar rather than just 2 which doesn’t go very far. Replenished every day too, great for me as I drink lots. Addition of hot chocolate was nice too. Will definitely be back.

Lovely stay.... room very clean ... breakfast spot on... parking excellent... owner and family very nice polite and accommodating... ideal location for open air theatre gigs but up a rather large and lingering hill...B&B right next to Peasholme park which is lovely to walk around...

The hotel is in a nice quiet part of town. Easy walking distance to anywhere you want to go in Scarborough. The breakfast was top class too. Loved my stay.

Friendly homely B&B

Lovely location at the top of Peasholm Park, well kept mid century detached. Denise was very helpful and gave us a breakfast early on request. Would stay again.

Definitely recommend this B & B for a family holiday, the owner and staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Really nice family environment, board games for the children and a bar for the adults. Will certainly be returning in the future.

Nice quiet road. Close to the beach. Just a short walk,but its a slight hill. Convenient for outdoor theater. Fabulous breakfast, it kept us going most of the day. Very little street noise. Definitely would book again.

A delightful comfy hotel

The Russell is at the back of Peasholm Park and is convenient for the Open Air Theatre. A walk to the seashore. Denise was welcoming and friendly. The beds were comfy and the room had 2 comfy chairs and plenty of drink making supplies.The breakfast was very good and served by a delightful young lady. As a person with limited mobility I found the stairs steep but not unexpected in older properties. Parking was in the drive and we had to wait for someone to move their car but on street parking was available. I suggest a record car reg to room number would have helped. We enjoyed our stay and would book again. Thank you for making our stay enjoyable.
