A lovely guesthouse in a beautiful location overlooking the beach. The staff are very friendly, there’s a complimentary glass of wine on arrival, and the breakfast was excellent. Highly recommended.

Really good B&B. A few minutes walk to the Spa. Town a little further, but an easy stroll overall. All staff we encountered were very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast food hot and tasty. Everywhere cleaned to a very high standard.

Excellent hotel

Staff were very helpful and friendly. Room was spacious, clean and had everything we needed. Breakfast excellent. We have stayed in lots of hotels in Scarborough and this is by far the best.

My wife and I cannot think of a single negative regarding our two night stay.The place is spotlessly clean people that work there are so pleasant.The view from the room we booked was nothing short of magnificent.A well cooked breakfast both days.will definitely stay here for our next east coast trip.

Stayed for two nights and couldn’t sleep either due to heat in room. Mild weather 24 all day but room so hot on top floor impossible to get quality sleep. Shower controls also either faulty or effected by neighbouring rooms with temperature constantly changing for no reason. Good location and potential to be very good

Amazing staff. Excellent breakfast. Got a complimentary upgrade which was a very nice surprise. Room was clean. Bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was excellent with a great shower and very hot water. Convenient location.

Lovely guest house - great staff - clean rooms .. breakfast beautiful They go that extra mile to provide those little extra’s that made our stay extra special .. complementary glass of wine on arrival, welcoming of dogs, treats for dogs and towel and bowls in the room, setting up a breakfast table in the lounge so that our dog can be with us whilst we were having breakfast and not left in the room (as dogs were obviously not allowed in the breakfast room with other guests having breakfast) Thank you for a lovely day - would recommend to anyone

Great staff, lovely room. Cold breakfast choices were plentiful. Unfortunately the cooked breakfast was bland. Would certainly stay again and choose other than a Full English as there was plenty to choose from.

Very pleasant stay

Mansion House is situated in the quieter part of Scarborough which suited us perfectly. We received a warm welcome and found the accommodation to be spotless and comfortable. Breakfast offered a good choice and hot food was nicely cooked and presented. The lounge was a cosy welcoming place with plenty of books and games and an honesty bar stocked with a variety of beverages. As we were blessed with good weather we didn’t use the lounge but it would have been a pleasant place to have spent a rainy couple of hours. It’s less than ten minutes walk up to the main road and bus route to Filey and Bridlington and a twenty minute walk to the heart of Scarborough itself. A very enjoyable few days.

My friend and I stayed here 22-24/9/23 in a twin room with a sea view (room 10). The room was not big but adequate for us and has 2 showers. My friend did struggle with all the stairs so it might be worth asking for a lower floor room if you too have a dodgy knee! It is a lovely place, with good attention to detail given to make your stay the best it can be. Good, safe parking on the road outside. The cable car down to Scarborough Spa and the beach path is close by. Not too far to walk to the main attractions. The breakfast was very good indeed with varied choices. Overall, a happy visit and we would definitely recommend Mansion House to family and friends.
