We stayed over for the concert at the open air. The hotel was clean and well maintained- all the staff were polite and friendly. Our room was clean. The bar was lovely and the restaurant and breakfast was perfect. The en-suite was very small but clean. The only thing that would have meant full star rating would have been a better parking arrangement, - a quality mattress and blackout curtains. That being said we would definitely stay here again.

Mixed feelings. The room was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean, as I would have expected for £220. On the downside however the room was unbearably hot with no AC. We were given a fan but this just circulated warm air about. A very poor nights sleep. Ironic as the receptionist had a nice cool environment to work in. And it would have been nice to have been told about the exterior renovations to manage our expectations of our view. See images. When we arrived we were handed the key to room’coastal escape’ and we miss heard this as ‘close to the skip’, and on reflection this wasn’t far from the truth. We can see many positives, the staff were lovely, but there are still some significant changes to be made.

Excellent room with incredible views over the North Bay. The restaurant is light and airy and the breakfast was just what was needed. The staff are also really helpful and clearly want the guests to enjoy their stay.

The hotel was perfect location for open air theatre 15 min stroll down the hill. Lovely decor in the hotel very clean and fresh looks like it’s had a recent refurbishment. Breakfast nearly perfect just a small recommendation to chef - just cook the sausages a little longer for that golden brown all over. Our only issue was the room was way too small felt a little cramped everywhere and I’m a big chap , felt a bit like a broom cupboard at the top of the hotel. Maybe next time we can be offered a larger room or better options in the booking process. So stay away from Room 34 if your of big build. Overall though very nice place
